I love Jennifer and this show but they really need to take the constructive criticism from Instagram and TikTok on that Kardashian interview seriously (or else this show won't be on air for very long). It was VERY awkward to watch (Khloe was nervous too which also contributed to the awkwardness) as are most of her interviews. I used to wonder why she wouldn't maintain eye contact with her guests until someone on TikTok who's attended a taping pointed out that there's a monitor behind the guests which she reads off of. It comes off very stiff and unnatural. For example, in this video, 1:05 - 1:11 is just straight up awkward. At 1:10 you can see she's looking at the monitor. It just comes across as forced and disingenuous. It's giving manufactured TV. Might as well have a robot interview this boy. Another criticism, she does in almost every single interview, repeating exactly what the guest just said but wording it differently. (Case in point 1:24 - 1:38) I don't know if it's a lack of prep or what but she's better off reading off her cue cards. That would at least be more natural.

Imagine what actors go through daily when they can’t remember their lines. This is a common thing especially for talk show host. I think Jennifer is doing amazing and it’s hard doing a talk show for the first time, she seems to have found her element and is working with that. The show has been renewed and the ratings are great. I think in time and as things proceed further over the years she will have found her comfort zone and wouldn’t need the extra assistance from her crew.
