I watch a lot of stand up comedy. I mean I watch A LOT of stand up comedy. I mean I watch so much stand up comedy it's probably unhealthy. It's supposed to be a rallying cry for women to overcome obstacles that come in their way. The joke is mostly just a play on words, bc the girl with the bong offered her a "shotgun" and Katherine misinterprets & assumes she's a pro-gun conservative, so she responds "Nah I'm good, I'm kinda liberal" and then says "Nevertheless she persisted" implying that Katherine was the obstacle that Shotgun girl needed to overcome.

For me, offensive jokes about men/women (more simply a joke where saying something offensive about men/women is the punchline) have just been so overdone that all that's left is the offensive part.
