I can't imagine what the victim's and the victim's family goes through. It's horrible that this is so frequent. My thoughts are with them. I deeply wish that this would stop and that these young people would be safe again.

They don't take just children but try to kidnap members of wealthy families as well or anyone they know they can squeeze money from. Our family friends brother was kidnapped and held hostage for 2 months. He was a dermatologist there working in a hospital. After 2 months of negotiation and giving them $200, 000 they finally released him. He said he was kept in a dark room, barely fed, mocked and beat up on a daily basis. This is actually one reason my parent's don't feel comfortable to visit, because if they know you're a foreigner they automatically assume you're rich.

I was kidnapped as a child in Pakistan after we left Afghanistan. Thank god I was found safe an unharmed. Apparently back in the 80’s plenty of Afghan children escaping the war were kidnapped in Pakistan. I was one of the lucky ones. Can’t believe this shit still happens though.

This gives me the chills. I don't think the kidnappers are going to the trouble of feeding and pampering the kidnapped victim instead they probably abusing them as dancing boys or selling or making them work as slaves. The entire system is corrupt and function on a lack of morals

Enzo Dina I have to agree. The taliban Regime was conservative and people.were afraid to do these things. A loss of those boundaries has left a confused nation were anything goes. Morals and dogmatic boundaries no longer rule and pleasure has taken over.

Ryan Jacobs money is not the primary reason. the rural areas are more traditional with the taliban as rulers and with almost no corruption. rural areas might have higher moral values and an effective taliban government. but the capital city and the major cities are ruled by american installed, extremely corrupt puppets. in many issues there is no just and proper rule of law in the capital. that's why there are so many problems. (take note that the afghan government aka the american puppet regime is the 3rd most corrupt government in the world).

@Green98 Ummm... I think you mean America. America imports trafficked children from all over the world via their armed forces as well. The American govt. has been trafficking in drugs and people in Mexico & throughout south America & Afghanistan. Don't you read? It's been reported in US mainstream media that the Opium trade rose - literally by billions of dollars in Afghanistan - AFTER the US invaded - it's one of the reasons the corporate American state is still there. Human trafficking is HUGE on the planet & people are trafficked from country to country. The CIA has been trafficking children via orphanages they set up in war zones all over the world since their inception in the 20th century. See Tory Smith's channel if you think you can handle it. See reporter Gary Webb's work - get his book & watch all the videos about him - IF you think you can spot the propaganda versus reality, including the corporate media in the US, which is full of presstitutes, NOT journalists (I was trained as a journalist & most on CNN & MSNBC are NOT journalists.) I dare you to watch every video on Tory's channel: TORY SMITH.

This is so sad with what happens to families in Afghanistan. The little brother wanting his teenage brother back and asking for help made me cry. The anguish on their faces. I’m so happy that he was released back to his parents but, what an awful way to live in fear all the time. I’m praying that all kidnapped victims are safely returned back to their families. The commander who investigates these cases and works so hard to get them solved is a God sent man. He is to be commended for trying his hardest to unite these boys back to their families again. God bless him always. The lady reporter was very brave to accompany the detective and she did outstanding reporting. God bless her. This was an outstanding report, thank you. 🙏

My heart really ached for the Afghans. It is a beautiful country but there is nothing can be done if society and government are lost, no frame of reference of goodness and morality. They are eating each other. It is a country of survival of the fittest. The weak will be a victim. Their religion or whatever faith they have is not helping them. It is a human tragedy. polifatts the atheist/communist soviet union invaded and destroyed the country, not Islam. islam has been in afghanistan for 1300 years. wars and chaos has been in afghanistan for only the last 40 years. you dumb narrow minded fool. because of evil people like you, so many problems exist in the world. you refuse to logically analyse problems and just spit random hate. you are a evil and shallow person with shallow view.

Mr Montaro it's the truth. the middle east was very beatiful, until the satanic, demonic evil forces of the christian west invaded and destroyed this region. the middle east was the center of intellectual activity, science, arts and culture for 1000 years, until the barbarian genocidal christian european invaders arrived during their colonial conquests.

Khalid Arzo none of these problems existed during taliban rule. all these problems started after the west made "regime change" there and installed extremely corrupt puppets into the government there.

This is so tragic. The things people do to each other, it's so sad. I can't imagine what this family and what many others alike go through. It's incredible how much corruption exists in the world. We need people who not only empathize, but who actually go out and change things. People like us, who are privileged and have the resources.

Humans are being farmed, to be entrenched and enslaved in the agricultural-urbanized system, so that elite and royal classes can gain wealth and power off of the labor of those who are deeply entrenched. The domestication and farming of livestock animals is to blame for this human farming. We are an unnatural overpopulation of farmed human animals, as well as overpopulation of livestock animals.

I could survive in a place of rebellion and war but this, this is just depressing on a whole other level. "Hopefully" they kidnap a taliban commanders child or some government leaders and they get shut down completely. The fact that after being payed 140 k they don't release the kid nor even try to get more out of the father is infuriating. These type of people deserve hellfire.
