I had my kidney biopsy this morning.and thanks to your video I felt that I was prepared for what was about to happen.I was amazed how painless it was. They started a IV as soon as I got there then a short time later we went in for the biopsy. And like you said it was over quickly. Thank you for your video it helped me so much

My kidney Biopsy was bad as after it I had the worst headache of my life that still hasn’t been bitten. I remember going to hospital and going in this room on hospital bed with a canyilar in my arm and injected me with sleepy drug and remember saying I was going to see Iron man 3 which had just come out at the time and woke up and told they wanted a uterine sample to see the level of proteins after the surgery at the time I was just a ten year old kid and all the nurses were great and I tried to not flinch or cry when they done blood tests

I ended up having a hematoma on my liver fr9m the biopsy. 3 days after I still feel tenderness. They say after three days you’re back to normal but with a hematoma it’s a little longer……

Butterfly Angel It went pretty well, I have a very favorable diagnosis and I lost weight and began to workout, mostly running. My diet is pretty strict, basically plant based, but my CKD has been controlled very well, actually the lab test have shown that my creatinine is decreasing, along with the protein in urine. It’s been a challenge but it’s also a new opportunity to value life. Your videos showed me how wrong I was about my assumptions with CKD. Thank you for bringing me hope in a pretty dark moment of my life.

Hello, firstly, don’t worry, I know it’s all very daunting at first (I remember it well). I totally understand that it’s scary but trust me it get’s better. I think at this point in the process it’s important to try and get tests done and listen to your doctor in order for you to get the right diagnoses and treatment to get you to better health. It’s totally up to you of course as no one can tell you what to you. But for now, take one step at a time and try not to stress (easier said than done but it will help if you try and stay calm) wishing you well and sending you peace

@@JasminesJourney thank you. just wanna ask you, after all the tests you've done, what did you do to overcome nephrotic? like on your own, aside from the doctor's advices. we only have the same situation and I would like to know or to ask some tips from you aside from going to the doctor like the foods and diets the you did?
@JasminesJourney
@JasminesJourney 3 жыл бұрын
So of course Nephrotic Syndrome is a chronic illness so I will haha this autoimmune disease for the life but I understand what you mean. So when everything is under control we call this ‘remission’. Usually the main things I try to do is to get a good 8 hours of sleep, eat a diet that is lower in salt/saturated fats/simple carbohydrates, exercise at least 3 times a week and the most important to me is to keep happy and positive whenever I can as I know for me personally stress is a big factor that can cause something called a ‘relapse’ which is when protein starts spilling again and I become quite poorly once more. I will always work as a team with my doctor as he really does know best and has my best interest at heart, he’s been my doctor since diagnosis and I 100% put my trust in him.

Oh by the way sorry if you had a biopsy done of you're kidney how did it go? Did they put you to sleep or was you awake? I pray that they can put me to sleep because i have extremely bas anxiety and i don't know if i could actually mentally handle that. Some people say that you can't feel anything while others say that it's the worst pain that they've ever felt so i guess everyone is different and i guess also whoever does it as well depends on how it goes. If you don't mind how did you're go?

@@ayanibrahim5092 You're welcome and i hope that you got good results and whatever it maybe if it's something i hope it's treatable. I've literally been worried myself to death and I'm a very strong person and unfortunately I've been through alot in my life and trust me I'm not one of those people who wants sympathy or pity because sometimes unfortunately it is what it is and sometimes we have no choice in the matter. I have unfortunately alot to many health problems for my age and I've already been through 6 different surgeries throughout my life starting from the age of 3. Been in 5 car accidents and i promise you none of them were my fault just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time and 2 were hit and runs. Been bucked off a horse so my body has been through alot and my first surgery was an umbilical hernia which was repaired at the age of 3 and now i found out last year i have another umbilical hernia and also a hital hernia and I've got to see a surgeon tomorrow about the umbilical hernia because they don't like messing with the other types for some reason i guess to close to the chest area, not sure. If they get bad enough they will repair them I've heard. But my main problems that are the worst are my kidneys and are at very great concern at this point. I was born with a kidney condition but this is something else and they said with a biopsy they could tell what it was. Kidney problems unfortunately run in the family really bad. My mother had one removed when i was in my 20's and my niece my brother's daughter she is in her 20's now but she had to also have one removed when she was only 7. My grandmother my mom's mother passed away of renal failure and so did her mother at a super young age because my grandmother ended up raising her brothers and sisters till they came of age she was a great woman, they just didn't have the technology then that they do today. I have anxiety extremely extremely bad and if i haft to go through with it like he wants me to i pray that they can put me to sleep because I've had many thyroid bipospies done and they weren't the most pleasant thing to have done. Had 4 suurgine full of liquid drew out for biopsies and the first one wasn't so bad but the second one a nodule had green on top of another one so he had some trouble and i couldn't dare move. Cysts they don't worry about so much just really the nodules because they can turn into cancer. I've got cysts on both kidneys, I've had kidney stoned before and they were so painful i was going through college at the time for nursing but i didn't miss a day and made an A on my midterm lol and then asked if i could go to the emergency room because i knew something was wrong i was in so much pain. I'm sorry for venting you're probably thinking i didn't need all that lol and i do apologize sometimes i get carried away. I do hope all is well with you and best wishes and everyone is always in my prayers. God Bless you and you're family and thanks for the nice comment i appreciate you answering me back. Good day my friend.
