There are the exceptional masters who were never part of a kido corps. Aizen’s spiritual pressure is so out of this world that he can just skip incantations and still is more destructive than the norm. Urahara can give kido spells additional fictions. Like a hado +90 that will seal when not kill. Yet neither of them ever preformed healing kido so I guess that there always has to be some type of compatibility. There will be those with more affinity to offensive, defensive or subtle kido spells.

Yeah a good example of this is how Aizen as just a captain smoked Komomura with an incantation-less Hadô 90 Kurohitsugi that was apparently at 1/3rd power. Healing Kido is the one we know the *least* about and it sort of sucks how we barely know anything even when Squad 4 uses it. Especially since we met the inventor of it in Squad 0

Also, part of the difficulty seems to lay in being able to alter the nature of one's spirtual energy. It's likely that the incantation helps the user get the 'feeling' of the nature better, and being able to do it without it shows a higher mastery over their control.

I really want to see Ichigo use kido, of the big three we never got to see Naruto use any normal jutsu, though we know he has learned a lot of them in Boruto, he never uses them, in One Piece haki is the only commantility and Luffy is quite good at it... Ichigo(who has spent the least time with powers) has done Zanjutsu and Hand to Hand, but Kido, Quincy powers and some hollow powers need mastery, I can't wait to see him use atleast some of these in Hell Arc

yeah. Reiatsu is the energy you normally see and sense, which can use to crush others depending on how much they have. Think of when Aizen used it on Grimmjow, or Yamamoto on Nanao. Also allows your Zanpakuto ability to become weaker or stronger. For example, Tokinada (from the light novel CFYOW), had a higher Reiatsu then the earth Zanpakuto user, so he was able to create earthquakes. As when he was trying to use Kyoka Suigetsu, he couldn't due to his Reiatsu not being as strong as Aizen. Reirioku is the amount of energy a being has stored within their body or soul. You can call it the "inner" power or like, Reiatsu is the output and Reirioku is what Kyoraku did with Lili Baro

Yea, someone has already explained properly so I will give the shorter version, Rierioku is the amount of energy you have while Reiatsu is the effect of the amount of energy you can actually use in battle. For example in SS arc, Ichigo had the same Reirioku when he was fighting Ikaku as he did when he was fighting Zaraki but he had different Reatsu because he had learned to use more of it. Similary Bankai release does not increase the shinigami Rerioku but it does increase their Reatsu in most cases

Speaking of Kido, I've always wondered what a Kido-type Zanpakuto is. Like, are all elemental Zanpakuto like Hyorinmaru and Ryujin Jakka Kido-type? Or is there a greater distinction than that? I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Hyorinmaru is a Kido-type Zanpakuto despite Captain Hitsugaya's lack of on-screen Kido usage. On the other hand, I think Ryujin Jakka is a Melee-type Zanpakuto despite being fire-elemental, and I don't think Tobiume is elemental and she's the first Zanpakuto I think of when thinking Kido-type.
