For the first time a grandmother speaks out about what happened to her grandchildren. The mother and father are facing charges related to child deprivation. The Georgia Department of Family and Children's Services took the children from a home in what authorities describe was in a terrible condition.

I took care of my grandchildren for close to three years when they were younger. My daughter and her husband would buy food for themselves, but give the kids almost nothing. When the kids came to live with me, they were so surprised that the refrigerator was full! I feel for these kids. They do not need to live like that. :(

Who in the flip gets 1350 in FS? You can take one look at these parents a tell that they are drugs users and then take a look at the house and how they are living that would be the second clue. The grandmother knew that the food was locked up away from the kids so she also knew that they house was disgusting and that the kids were not taken care of in any way. Grandma said - if they weren't being fed don't you think that they would come over here and ask for food. Ummm grandma you looking a bit shady too so I would say no they probably did not feel safe to come to you. The whole sad situation here is that these kids will be allowed to go back to their parents at some point so this will continued on. They will be taken from clean, healthy, food provided, safe homes and be put back with these horrible people to continue to ruin these kids future.
