The line that Thameslink use in the Wimbledon/Sutton area is called the Wimbledon loop. The reason for why it's called that is because basically it is literally a loop. Services coming from St Albans and Luton will tend to go clockwise into Sutton and services to Luton and St Albans go Anti-Clockwise I think it's that way round.

Funny that every platform is technically a london-bound platform when you consider that some trains terminate and others go off round a loop via Wimbledon lol

Not every platform as one of the platforms (maybe platform 4) is only for trains heading from London to Epsom Downs

@@dansmith4601 I believe you're right about the second one. Platform 4 is where some trains terminate and head back to London from however I'm not sure of the route. Anyway my point is that when trains terminate at Sutton they use platform 4 and then head out again on the same platform

How long do you usually stay at the stations for? P.S the electrostar is by far my favourite model of train, so it's awesome to see the 377's 😂👌....great video as always

I usually stay between 1 hour and 2 hours 30 mins, it depends on what trains come and when they come. Also yes I don't mind the 377s either. 😊
