If you are a novice, Brian May is quite a challenge! I no longer have this tuner, but I think you're on the right track. Increase the delay and then play at what tempo you can handle. I would suggest doing the harmonies on the scale runs until you get it down. Sorry I couldn't be more help. Good luck!

Yes, it's possible. I can't remember which part I explain this on, but you can the save the acoustic preset and then assign it to position 1, country/slide sound to position 2 and ditorted/reverb to position 3. Hope this helps!

This has helped me with buttonology, but how so you combine the effects on this? I am thinking of giving my rp250 to my son, and getting a 355. Using the x-edit features are much easier (and more fun) to play with. Maybe just get hima 250 since they are cheep now!

Thanks for the videos. First thing that comes to my mind, is that Getting to create an expression /Wah sound is really confusing on this pedal. It’s the hardest interface to control EVER, and I have had many multi effects in the past(Boss, zoom, Digitech and Korg). This Pedal was a positive jump for Digitech with the DNA2 chip sound-wise, but the interface is horrible and not intuitive at all IMHO. Even The older RP100A(which I still use), 200 and 300, which do have an older chip, are so much more intuitive thanks to the real control knobs for all the different parameters of effects. The RP150, 250, 350, and later on the 155, , 255 and 355 were when Digitech really started to shine(I had the 255/355 and used them on many gigs) and simplify their compact pedal interface. I wanted to like this pedal for the sounds, but I hate it for its interface and nearly annoying matrix. It’s a cool pedal for just goofing around at home, and a cute piece if you are a collector (like me lol), but NOT a gig worthy. I also had to open it few times to adjust the foot switch levers so they make the contact on the circuit board..I mean..you get the picture..sorry for the long comment but I’m a sucker for these multi effect pedals(an unrecovered junky)..haha..

I have a rp70 its very nice but the pedals go bad in a few years be prepared to open it up and solder the connections around the switches.

hifijohn it wasn’t on the circuit board itself for me..I just needed to adjust the height of the rubber pads of the foot switch so it makes a tighter contact with two switches on the board. The circuit board is very durable(my pedal got kicked around many times) otherwise, but requires an experienced soldering if u wanna replace these small parts..I wouldn’t mess with it..all I’m saying is, many people complained about this pedal’s foot switch gone bad-but 99% of the time, it’s not the circuit board, and the problem is mechanically simple.

Sorry I didn't give a better explanation there at 4:28. Use EDIT button to get to expression LED on the matrix.Choose Pr or PS which are the only volume controls. When you are there,strum your guitar and see what the volume is like with the toe up vs.toe down. If it's not working, you'll have to adjust the toe up and down values.Press the EDIT UP button, this should be 0 for toe up,use VALUE button to change. Press the EDIT UP button again for toe down,increase to max. Let me know if it works

Hi - very impressed with this as a product and a very comprehensive demo - thanks, but I have a question: how can you change quickly between the settings mid-song? I'm thinking of something like 'What is and what should never be' by Led Zeppelin where you might want to go from an almost acoustic sound at the beginning to a country/slide sound an then a distorted/reverb for the last part? Is it possible to tee up the 3 or 4 you might want in a song and switch from one to the other.

first thanks for being thorough. ive heard that i am supposed to put this thru my solid state marshall on the clean channel so it doesnt hurt my amp. my gain channel gets much louder. any thoughts?

Hi, can i edit the TONE and the EFFECT libraries which are accessed by TONE LIBRARY and the EFFECT LIBRARY buttons?? If yes then how? Because, i dont want to edit an entire sound but only a particular library sound and then use it!

Not sure what you're asking. Videos part 1 and 2 cover this, but you can't edit the library, only the sounds accessed in them.

Your rp90 is not broken! You just have to have a preset from the matrix set (i.e. to something other than OFF).

May i ask you a favor? i'm quite novice in this, but i want to create a effect able to sound like this : (search brighton rock live at wembley) can you help me? i'm trying, but since i'm a novice is harder for me to reach the same sound, i will be very grateful if u can. (Check from 8:00 ~ 9:21, is a 40 ms delay on right and 80 ms delay on left,that is all i know)
