20:35 Earthworm Jim was originally published by Playmates and developed by Shiny. Interplay didn't have anything to do with the IP until Jim's cameo in Clay Fighter 63 1/3.

2:13 as soon as that music hits, it never stops! Also, worst game I can remember playing may be Where’s Waldo? , Dr Jekyll or course, or Ghostbusters!

I wish i had known about the community Poll. I would have nominated Infiltrator. God what a horrible mess that game is. No idea what to do. the combat (if you could call it that) sucks and the graphics were terrible. The sound was no better either.

There have been many, but especially Dash Galaxy in the Alien Asylum and Target Renegade, which has no business calling itself Renegade. It's to the Kunio series what the monkey-fied version of Ecce Homo was to classic works of art.

I've not played Dr. Jekyll, nor Bayou Billy, but the other 4, dad had on his NES that I played when I was a little girl. I had gotten to the point that I've destroyed Sharon Stone fast enough, was able to get out there, but could never get past the x-ray machine. And yeah, got about as far as I did on Back to the Future as well, except one time, I used the cheats on MAME, beat the game then, but on my own, yeah, same spot I kept having trouble with. Another one is the NES port of Dragon's Lair. That was another one dad had that annoyed the crap out of me when I was a little girl, and Sky Shark as well. Anyways, enjoyed this video. Thank you.

For me, it would have to be the Airwolf game on NES. I believe there were two versions on NES. As a kid, I loved the Airwolf show so when I saw that there was a game, I was thrilled. Tried it out and it was absolutely lame. Thankfully I rented the game at my local video store. Only thing lost was just a couple of dollars and a wasted weekend lol.

Only reason I dispute bayou billy was I think its main issue was the difficulty. of course with renting games being seen as some kinda epidemic by the publishers they tried to combat it by dialing up the difficulty to 11 and breaking the knob off, as what seemed to happen with billy. I'm with you on the Japanese version, Mad City -- that one's far more reasonable in the difficulty department. ghostbusters I would recommend the SMS version, easily the definitive console port, it beats the NES version by several miles! most of these other ones I did at least rent, and have no further objections to.

For sure Bayou Billy is otherwise a good game, it plays OK and has decent graphics and sound, but the frustration factor is strong with this one. I'm happy I played Mad City first.

Comic Book Guy (The Simpsons): Worst NES video games ever.
@XSpImmaLion2 ай бұрын
Hooo boy, I had Total Recall... it was so horrible. All compounded by the fact that back at the time, I'd only get one game for my birthday and one for xmas usually. So I was usually stuck with whatever game I chose for half an year or so. Total Recall was one of those games that despite being the only new game I had to play... I just refused to and played old games instead. :P The other major one, dunno if Jim already played it... Dragon's Lair for NES. Man, that was pure crap. xD The title was famous because of the holographic arcade game, which I do kinda understand where they got the fact that everything kills your character... but the NES was a laggy, hard to control, horrible mess. Oh, I also agree with the Nightmare on Elm's Street assessment... lots of people hate the game and say it's one of the worst, but I quite liked it personally. I never owned it, but this is forwards several years when game rental stores finally popularized where I lived, so I spent a weekend with it... got up to the forest area but never finished it. There are some aspects of it that are very annoying, but for whatever reason I just liked it a lot. The music too, dunno why. xD Oh, as for Ghostbusters... I actually liked the original, but that was on Master System - not the horrible NES copy of it. Though the general concept is the same. It's pretty hard to figure things out, but once you do it gets kinda fun... even though it's much less action and more like a strategy sorta game. That's because it was one of those games you actually had to read the manual before playing... xD

That's the worst part of it, it's an otherwise pretty good game, but I can imagine renting it as a kid and hating it based purely on frustration

Battletoads is the worst. For all mortals it is a 2 level game followed by brutal precision for like 10 levels

I've never been a fan Battletoads, it's definitely tough, but I don't think it fits in the bottom of the barrel

These are bad but I'd collect them. One I couldn't even get a pawn shop to buy because they tried it to is Disney's Tale Spin. Its a game that can't even mirror a sprite it rotate it to fly up side down to go the other way.
