i hate side bars in a vertical shmup but i cant deny the awesomeness of japanese arcades...they really have a retrogaming culture over there!

always down for an awesome arcade video! (or arcades, in this case!) shoutout to so many of my favorite games, Street Fighter in all its incarnations (as well as the Marvel Vs. series), the SEGA racers like SCUD Race and Daytona, and shmups like RAIDEN, Gradius and DARIUS! so much cool stuff you love to see it.

Jim, there's a lot of arcades in Akihabara. You know such as: super potato, gigo, namco, Taito, space station, and more. Oh, and another thing, gigo Arcades was formerly sega. And I get it sega arcades shut down in 2021, which is the heart of a bummer. Then, after that gigo arcades are officially open since 2022, after I graduate high school.

I make the trip there from Yokohama about once a month. HEY from Taito is the only one I go to. Excellent arcade center and I easily spend about 1-2hrs before eating at Shogun burger nearby. Shumps and old school fighters are my go-to. I plan to go next month when the Kanda shrine festival takes place and book a hotel nearby for it. Awesome video and keep gaming 👍

Scud Race 😮 I remember this from years ago in my local arcade. I've tried to get it working on mame but it just isn't playable for me 😢 Anyways, im hoping to get a trip to Japan in 2 years or so. I'll definitely hire you as a guide 👍

So, Jim I prefer go to gigo arcades in Akihabara. Because there are variety of games that everyone can play and have fun. I say gigo arcades are the best and most popular place in Akihabara tokyo japan!
