I am my own worst enemy. I stopped going to church regularly for a while . I started looking at myself earlier this year and said “What am I doing, what have I done with my life” I needed to get back to the place where I feel most comfortable. The church itself did nothing to turn me away, it was my own fear. Fear of my past sins and of what others may think of me. I finally realized (just right before the pandemic started) I needed to go back to church and get myself together. God has been trying tell me all the time, in little things that have been happening around me. I need Him and now that we are dealing with COVID 19 ,I have been praying more, reading my Bible and fellowshipping with others regularly. I have overcome my fears and give God all the glory! I know now I can do nothing without God. I still ask for you all to pray for me.

I just want to start of with saying I love you truly. I love your ministry and how you are so open with your life. 1. There is no thing as a spiritual covering. its a theory that was espoused by the shepherding movement and later denounced by its founders. its a church doctrine that is easy to manipulate and is non scriptural. in Corinthians it clearly states that if any many covers his head he dishonors his head, and a womans covering is the lord or her husband. We submit to God, the father, with Jesus as our only covering. Pastors are there to guide and feed, nothing else. 2 when a church has all the operation of the gifts the office of pastor is no longer the only ministry that edifies the body of Christ 3. though you say church hurt prepares you for the world you say that from a place of being in a safe church environment the trick of the the enemy is to make those under attack by Jezebel spirits and decietful pastors to just take it, stay in a church and die. Accountability is not a curse word. 4. i hope you come to understand why there is a segment of people that have not just experienced church hurt but have been abused and killed by pastors and ministers. its important that we are cognizant so that we can pray effectively. the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, right. Love you Kierra, your energy is beautiful.

Accountability is developed from community through cultural experiences , not necessarily through church experience. We belong to a global church which has diversity in it's approaches, history and nuances. You can be supported through an intimate network of mentors wiling to share their (professional and life-skill experiences). Church is often the least likely place to gain support, unless they have connect groups based on common interests which speak transparently and are relate specifically to contemporary issues. Self-directed learning through research and analysis can be more inspirational than a 5-point sermon based on cherry-picked texts or bible study which has to be relevant to a wide group of people,. Individual study and research can be more enlightening, because it is not restricted or limited by the depth of knowledge or presentation skills of the teacher/speaker at church.

That so true ... My Pastor pass two years ago..and it just don't fill the same..her son is in charger now and it's just not the same. I don't have that connection with him. I feel lost I fellowship with other churches but it's just not the same. I have been out of church for a year ..I need to find a temple for my spirit soul. I don't want to go to hell for my family. I am asking God..so I watch Pastors on TV or KZbin. I need prayer to help find a temple or worship. I hear you
