Easily my new favourite guitar. Got mine at Christmas and haven’t put it down yet. Even when I’m not playing it I’m just admiring the beauty of it. It’s a work of art that inspires more. Soon as you walk in my living room it’s the first thing to catch your eye. Every time.

I have this guitar and love it. The quality out of the box was amazing. The one thing that shocked me was that an instrument of this quality didn't come with a standard case.

I got this in the dark cherry. It's one hell of a guitar. A great buy at the price I got it for. It's not only a beautiful guitar but it sounds and plays great!

After a few months of you owning it, what do you think of the tuning, im still holding back because I hear bigsby system are hard to stay in tune or set up. What are you verdicts?

@@Lil_Niglet_yy In my experience I've not really had any trouble with tuning. Of course I don't go dive bombing on it, etc. but I haven't had much of a problem. Regardless of that, I swap out my tuners for locking ones because that makes for quick string changes. But even before, I didn't have much problem really.

I got the hollow body version of that guitar, the 5422. Best guitar I've ever owned. Gorgeous sound.

I picked up the 5422 TG first. I agree, it's wonderful. When I saw the 5622, I considered a trade but just decided to add another Gretsch to the line up

💙 just love the Electromatics , i'm new to them been playing acoustic only some forty years now , but have already acquired a used mint black 5120t , a used mint blue 5420t w/tv jones pups , a new walnut stain 5622t and a new snow white 5422tg ❕just cause i know they are that great a value for the money - i think that's my full complement for now 😍

Hay guys. I'm about to buy the fr model of this same Damien gutar . In Australia the font on the truss nut cover is different to the one you have in this video. The one you have is the correct font and style to the movie logo. I am trying to order another truss nut cover in the correct writing as your one. Can you please help with ordering that part. Purely selfish thoughts (And I don't mean to offend or step on toes) but I'd really like to see Gretsch divide up production and make the Electromatics in Korea, the Streamliners in China and Indonesia. The top of the line guitars are already segregated to Japan and the Custom Shop here in the States. My Tri-Five is perfect in build quality and made in Korea. Buying online it would be nice to just know where the series is made so we have a bit of a better insight into component/build quality. Second part to that request/suggestion would be for the Korean plant to make more semi-hollow body models. I'd love a semi-hollow with the fidelisonic P90's, with better quality than the current Streamliner offerings.

2 1/2 minutes to take a guitar out of a box and unwrap it. Who cares and how many times do we have to see this kind of crap? Plus we never even heard what it sounds like! Wake up!
