That dubstep wobble bass thing with the knobs, René looks so happy playing it. And I enjoyed listening to it.

Just ordered one! The way it looks, tone definition, color/wood options are bonus points! and 34~36 is just perfect scale length. Can't wait to get it in August!

I love my Kiesel Vanquish multiscale bass. I appreciate this review. I find it much better than Kiesel's own demo.

Beeing a big MusicMan StingRay fan, I have a Carvin SB 5000, the "ancestor" of the Vanquish. In my eyes this bass combines the built quality and workmanship of a MusicMan with the tone of a Jazz Bass on steroids. I just love the bass.

Really nice bass. Looks like a lot of fun to play too.

Great Video Gregor! Very detailed... and the Kiesel family is amazing! They deliver and you get a lot for the money. I am sure customer service is awesome as well.

Damn your content has gotten a lot better! Except from the pre-pubertal jazz shredders-videos. You're entertaining to watch, and informative. Lov it!

Price seems very fair for what's in the build, but I'd have to play one all set up to really know. I've done it a couple times, but it's difficult for me to purchase a bass before I can spend some time playing it at this point. I'm happy with my Ken Smith Jazz Burner and Warwick Special Edition "Dirty Blonde" (bolt-on thumb bass) 5 strings, but I'd love to try one of these.

Sounds amazing! I kinda expected a little bit more from the B string since it has a 36 inch scale, but it is goddamn tight anyway. This video made me want to update my Carvin SB4001... WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!!!

Dingwall and other manufacturers have made fan fret basses for over a decade. The preamp sounds like a filter type instead of the regular two band or three band eq. Tell us about the preamp please.
@basstheworldofficial6 жыл бұрын
Fanned frets were invented centuries ago. It’s a 3bd EQ with semi-parametric mid control

Regarding the total cost, for us Europeans shipping, V.A.T + custom charges bassically doubles the price. Perhaps something you should have mentioned?
@basstheworldofficial6 жыл бұрын
Doubles? Nope. Depending on your VAT % it might differ. But it’s more like 25-30% on top of the sales price
@jonaskhan90506 жыл бұрын
I calculated the cost of bringing it to Sweden, with the V.A.T and customs charge it bassically doubled the price, perhaps it´s cheaper in Germany. Anyhow, even if the cost is an additional 25% I think it should be mentioned. I loved the review though! I have had several Carvin/Kiesel basses that I bought from the old retailer in Frankfurt, amazing basses!!

I'd really like to see a direct comparison video of a Kiesel Vanquish bass and a Nolly Dingwall bass.jusy because I feel that Kiesel and Dingwall are currently like the leaders in making basses with a very Metal centric aesthetic but with amazing all around sounds and tones. I bought a used keisel at my local guitar shop and wow what a bass! And I absolutely love the gnarly sounds people can get out of a dingwall
