Instead of painting the boards, would it be possible to do a phenolic fretboard for the white? Epiphone and Gibson has put out some guitars (snow falcon, thunderhorse, snøfall, Buckethead) that did it. Seems like it would be more scalable than hand painting.

I'm so happy i decided to buy one 10 years ago, it's truly a special guitar. Stephen is my biggest influence, and the Deftones have been easily my favorite band since hearing that Abe come in on Around the Fur. Cool to see you become friends and enjoy each other's company. Soon, you will forget while hanging out what he does for a living at times because of his kind disposition.
@FanaticDrummer Жыл бұрын
Its so cool to see more artists have cross brand endorsements and how companies can support the artists in harmony without a pressure of being “exclusive”. It lets the companies focus on what they do best, instead of trying to please everyone. Which is what SO many companies try to do is this ridiculous “diversity”, but sometimes too much is too much and quality goes down from it. As a drummer ive changed brands as my playing changes because some companies do certain things better. They dont have to please everyone. Its important to have an identity and stick to it. Kiesel for example has the headless guitar niche and do it really well and other companies dont see the need to compete when one brand has that as a signature model. Like Gibson and Fender, everyone copies their design. Its good to have that power as a brand to have something everyone wants that they even want to copy it lol Still want a RD clone done right lol Gibson dropped that ball.
