I own a n54 motor and i always have to take the subframe out if i need to do work on the turbos. I am very surprised that for the f30 N55, you have the option not to remove the subframe

Mine is at 66k but I'm in Florida and my vehicle is doing ok but very stressful to know my engine could go bad any time. I would like some advice on what to do. Love your instructive videos. where does it smoke? Engine room? Then it may be the Valve Cover gasket. Common Problem with BMW. you can DIY with a bit of knowledge.
