Agreed, especially since Craig was celebrated for the things Dalton pioneered and got shunned for. "Property of a Lady" would have involved a storyline of how Bond got his double O license from his mentor and some story about an Asian villain and microchips or something. Shame they never made it:(.

@@florianlaur5300 The original premise of Property of a Lady revolved around Bond being sent to Hong Kong to investigate a shady British-Chinese entrepreneur named Sir Henry Lee Ching after a cyberterrorist attack on a nuclear power plant in Scotland. It turned out Ching planned to start WW3 if Britain didn’t hand over Hong Kong. Bond would have also met a jewel thief named Connie Web, as well as his mentor Denholm Crisp, who was later redeveloped as the main villain for the Dalton version of GoldenEye. One weird scene would have had Bond battling a robot as well. And Property of a Lady wasn’t the main title. They planned on either Colonel Sun or GoldenEye.

I think perhaps he was just a little bit too intelligent for the role. Very gifted, Shakespearean actor who hails from the part of the United Kingdom known as Wales. Dalton has also appeared in such movies as Flash Gordon (1980), The Tourist which also included Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie as well as Hot Fuzz with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost.

Actually, they asked him to be Bond since 1968 and continued to approach him almost EVERY time after that! He was approached for the last 4 or 5 Moore Bonds. But he rejected in 68 (saying he feels too young to play Bond) and showed respect. I love the Moore Bonds too, but wish I could see both as Bond:). Dalton is my absolute favourite.

Did you know that Dalton had to make a last bond movie it was on his contract he was supposed to be in Golden eye but unfortunately they chose Pierce Brosnan by saying to Dalton that if he's wanted to come back to the franchise he had to make 3 more movies but Dalton refused

Bond was a loose cannon from his perspective, but he still has enough attachment and sympathy for Bond underneath that he prevents the security from shooting him as he escapes. “Too many people” my arse, he secretly wanted Bond to get his revenge.

M’s voice and demeanour softens ever so slightly after Bond mentions Felix’s wife, M knows exactly what that would remind Bond of. He’s secretly sympathetic to his plight, but he has to be a professional like I said, it’s his job.

LICENSE TO KILLLi was the better of Daltons 2 bond films there was a third bond film for Dalton planned . but industrial action in America from the writers and actor’s Guild put a stop to that bond film . but it did save Dalton the embarrassment of an ever receding hairline as bond 😂 👋🇬🇧
