I was there! First concert in over 40 years! The entire thing was magical. Of course the music was sublime. Ed’s energy and showmanship was breathtaking! I was amazed at the quality of the production. The digital art added so much. This was a bucket-list item for me, since I’ve been a huge fan of Ed’s for years! My daughter gave me the tickets for my 64th birthday. Best birthday ever!

I love watching John and Ed play together. You can tell Ed is a legitimate John Mayer fan. The way he smiles and stares at John. Yet, at the same time. The performer in him still wants to entertain the hell out of the crowd. So you get these amazing back and forth with their singing and playing. It really creates an amazing show. The chemistry is next level when you can trust the other guy not to f*** it up.

Never thought those words would ever be uttered from my mouth, but his pursuit of numerous styles along with pairing up with the Grateful Dead has truly made him one of the greats. I had a friend there, and John was a last minute replacement that worked out beautifully. The higher level seats are still available at upcoming shows. They're pretty affordable, if you can get to one of the stadiums. He's doing smaller auditoriums on Friday nights followed by stadium shows the following night in the same city throughout the summer 😄

A lot of people don’t know that Mayer played guitar uncredited on Ed’s second album ‘divide’ on a track called how would you feel. Eric Clapton also appeared on that album under a pseudonym. All 3 of them played guitar on eachothers albums under false names

Revives? He's still going very strong. He may not have radio hits anymore but the dude has a massive fanbase. He's about to jump back into a sold out arena shows tour by himself. 20k sell outs, I think he's still pretty relevant. Sob Rock, his most recent album is still genius. He has reached legend level.
