@Jabber-ig3iw3 жыл бұрын
Yes, the UK is a very small country, we don’t have vast areas of nothing to put racetracks in so they are near houses, unlike the US we don’t hate each other so we tend to make rules for the benefit of everyone rather than just minority groups who like being antisocial.
@jamesengland74613 жыл бұрын
@@Jabber-ig3iw most Americans don't hate each other. We do, however, have plenty of room to spread out, and we have racetracks everywhere. I didn't insult your country; there's no call to insult mine. As for laws, both countries, to varying degrees, trample all over our God- given liberties.
@ZesPak3 жыл бұрын
Tbh those noise limits are usually quite sensible. It's usually (badly) modified cars that exceed them, although there will be some older cars that do as well. It's not just for surroundings, but also for other drivers/riders, as part of H&S. Just like we know that working with asbestos or fumes is bad, we know that working in a 100dB+ environment is very detrimental to hearing. There are often also "drive-by" tests, like speed camera's, along the tracks. These are usually ~90dB, which is sensible but some motorcycles might want to watch out. In essence, prolonged exposure to >100dB is extremely bad, even with earplugs.
