AMAZING! I just ran my first mountain race; a 20k in the French Alps... and I wondered often what Kilian would look like on trails. This is a fantastic POV, really instructive, thanks!

James Madelin you’re welcome!! That was always my question too, what it would look and feel like in real life to run behind him and follow him. So I did and brought a camera, to learn from his technique. Glad it’s helpful and instructive to others too.

drtimoneill Shelter them too much and it might blow back on your face, assuming you're from the US. Maybe you know better, but they'll be exposed to swearing sooner or later. Just guide them through it to make them know it's distasteful. Same thing for sex when they turn 11/12. Kids can be more mature than you think.

The FOD Runner not super technical actually, very little parts have loose rocks and gravel. It was mostly a dirt path with some big rocky surfaces. Sure, it's not pavement, but, not by any means it is that technical.

Christos Alexiou I’m sure for killian it’s nice and easy... for me that’s technical 😂

First of all, you're damn fast too, especially on that section where Kilian took a small shortcut and you did the U-bend and you caught up to him, wow. Second of all, how'd you get the camera to stabilize?
@greg.ocallaghan6 жыл бұрын
thanks! yeah he processes the terrain in front of him so quickly and sees lines others don't see, he's so efficient.. as for the stabilization, i use steadxp for gopro
Nice vidéo!!! How do you get stabilized image like that while running?

Great footage. Downhills are the most terrifying part of trail running, this is so impressive and under rated as a sport. But I do wonder if the wide lens on the go-pro makes falling over the edge seem more risky than it actually is?

Which gimbal did you use for thit video?
@greg.ocallaghan6 жыл бұрын
I did not use a gimbal, I used steadxp with a GoPro4 black, just holding the camera in my hand. Steadxp is a little device that records all camera movements, which you then use in post-production to stabilize the footage. Check it out: steadxp.com/
@ninofijacko25836 жыл бұрын
Greg O'Callaghan are you kidding me 😯 i did not know that. Perfect soluction for me 👍 Is hard to do post production?
@greg.ocallaghan6 жыл бұрын
i find it very easy, although it takes a bit of time.. but i prefer steadxp over a gimbal because it is so much smaller. you can just have the gopro in your pocket and spare the weight of a gimbal. hope that helps
@ninofijacko25836 жыл бұрын
I agree. Steadxp is more handy than gimbal. Which battery do you use in Steadxp - Go pro 3 battery? Is Steadxp greedy for a battery? And also, can you charge battery true Steadxp or you need a separate charger for a battery?
