All things considered, she seems like a pretty good boss to work for. Open to criticism and opposing views, just unwilling to stomach personal attacks on her heritage. Seems like a fair deal to me.

@@benjaminthibieroz4155 Of course she's a samurai. One of the best ever! She became one of the top female assassins in the world by 20 years old and the only way Beatrix killed her was because she had the better katana since it was forged by Hattori Hanzo. We all saw how skilled they both are with their katanas. If O-Ren Ishii had a Hattori Hanzo sword as well, she would have won. Their fight ended with a test of speed and O-Ren almost killed Beatrix. She was so close! And Hattori Hanzo swords cut 1.5 times faster than regular katanas, so if they had equal katanas, then O-Ren would have won.

One person commented that this was meant to mimic a comic book page. Each part jump cuts perfectly so that if they were screenshots and put on a page, it would still be able to tell everything that's happening to the viewer. Damn, that's deep. I guess that commenter has edited comic book layouts before. Usually, they are staffed out like any other publication: the writers, the illustrators, the inkers (they determine what colors to put to convey the mood, VERY important) and the layout department. I saw a behind the scenes look with one of my favorite artists, the late Michael Turner. He did comics like Witchblade and Fathom and even collaborated with others to do Tomb Raider comics, which were big sellers. Met him at a Comic Con 12 years ago. Very nice guy. Am still saddened by his passing but I still read his comic Witchblade frequently.

I love how the men are scared out of their minds and the women are smirking.

The women are only smirking because they are in the in. That’s all. If they weren’t, they would be just as terrified.
