Honestly if this had more realistic graphics id buy it, i feel that would make it infinitely a better game. Something this basic needs to look good imo. Basic game with basic graphics is just not a good combo.

Damn I enjoyed this game a lot. I would probably give it ~7.5 and I have massive arachnophobia. Only real problem I had was my left hand wasn’t able to open/grab anything that wasn’t from my inventory for an hour or so but it fixed itself eventually. Disappointed about the lack of a platinum though, and I could always do with more trophies in general. I feel $15 is fair if Super Death Game SHOW! VR can charge that much

The only way this would be fun is if devopers created a photo realistic old run-down house. With teal looking environments and spiders. Perhaps I would dive in.

I always thought the regular non-VR version of this game looked extremely boring judging by the videos I've seen. Don't think having it in VR is enticing me any more. lol I guess I just don't see the appeal of killing spiders with guns. At least normal size ones anyway. 😛

Best spider game lol was the arcade game by Atari in 1983! Called "Black Widow" had to be alive then but that was a fun spider game...even though you are the spider in that game....Atari 50 offers it on various platforms....

Seems like the developer missed the trick about making the spiders threatening. Either by being able to harm or eventually kill the player or by being able to slow the player down by firing webs at them or the environment to get stuck on or perhaps temporarily blinding the player with a web or something before going and hiding somewhere else (adding more dangerous spiders along the way throughout the campaign - something like Eight Legged Freaks!!) The last level definitely should have been set in a wine filled basement with tough as nails giant spider with a nailgun as the only weapon 😂

LOL i didn't even finish the first level with the standard game of kill it with fire as i couldn't understand what to do so i didn't touch it again, the fear of spiders within the game i agree, it for increasingly annoying with the spider noises and not knowing where they are though

Yah, I would pick Barbaria vs this. Quest 3 been nicer for free trials mixed with Bryans reviews and I'm picking better games on psvr 2. Spider one would be a good $4 game for peeps with a phobia.....you guys notice "Drunkin bar fight" was listed as a psvr 2 download for free upgrade and said psvr2? I downloaded before they removed it and it wouldn't load did an endless circle like a slow pc was famous for. When I you guys mentioned the pay more money release date, I was bummed...ill check your review before considering not being mad their listing was bs for a psvr 1 upgrade. Seeing that with other games but mostly it would say psvr1 though listed on psvr 2 titles..I get more annoyed when they pop up free listed psvr2. Even tin hearts demo dead after game was released...keep up the good work for us vr gamers...later

I'm kinda jealous of people like for example some close friends who immerse themselves into (VR) games so much. Like forgetting they are in a real room knocking things over or being terrified of heights and spiders in games. I love playing games, but I'm always aware of the disconnect. I hate heights and spiders, but they don't bother me in games and I'm always aware of my set play space, not knocking things over in my tiny apartment.

I own most of them. Thankfully quite a few developers have sent their PSVR2 games to me wanting me to review it. Unfortunately even a short, small game like Kill It With Fire VR takes days to review so finding time to cover them all is tough. Thanks for the kind words though! I'll keep the reviews coming and hopefully I'll slowly be able to get caught up on all the ones I missed! :D

Has anyone had any issues with this game ? - every time I close the game it will crash next time I boot it up. The only way I get round this is by deleting the games save file. It’s like every time I make any progress and the game has saved it will prevent it from loading past the title screen Any help is greatly appreciated Meow x

You're not the only one to have mentioned this here in the comments. I played through the whole game in 3 sessions, which meant I had to load my save file twice. I didn't encounter any problems but it does seem like there's an issue here affecting a lot of people. I'll mention it to the devs and see if they're aware...

The PlayStation Store has all the nomenclature for PSVR1 hardware (like Moves, camera, etc) so it does seem like it's available. I haven't downloaded it and checked it out for myself yet

Unfortunately, most of PSVR 2 games graphic are simply like PSVR 1 .. Not having a good time with that!!
