You’ve gotta love this time of year, everything is so clear and crisp, and no bugs. I know it wasn’t a long paddle, but a really nice campsite, thanks for sharing it with us. Be well my friend.

The weather was absolutely perfect for this trip. It was a bit cooler at night, but not too cold and hot and sunny during the day. I mean, there’s still a chill in the air, but if you sit in the sunshine without any wind, you’re good to go. Thank you for commenting. Be well.

Nice little waterfalls. Be nice to visit that area when water levels are a bit higher. Glad you had a warm weekend for your trip.

Yes! It would definitely make the portage a lot easier. Thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers.

Stayed there in 2022. It's a great site. In the summer the end of the portage is a great swimming spot.

I love your videos. I currently live in Northern California. I used to live in TGA back in the early 90s. My BF and I would get away to a friend's cottage on a lake near North Bay whenever we could. We would bathe in the lake and canoe over to the 'rock' for sunning, A couple of time we would portage over the various waterways that were available to us. I found paddling through the water vegetation most calming and peaceful. I find following you as you paddle most comforting.

Awe!!!!! Thank you so very much for this wonderful comment. You totally made my day. It sounds like you spent time in a very magical place. You might want to check out my Temagami playlist if you haven’t found that already? There’s some pretty remote trips there that I think you would enjoy. Are you new to my channel ? Keep me posted. Pls. 😊

Ok that lake is beautiful!!! The colors looked amazing on the video but I bet in person it was so much better...Looking forward to the next episode....thanks for sharing this awesome place Christina!

Thank you so much. You are right. It was definitely much better in person, but I think the new phone did a great job of capturing the colours white well. Hope you enjoy the rest of the series. I heard part two wasn’t working for some reason, I will check that this morning and it should be good to go in a few hours. I actually stayed up till midnight Monday and Tuesday nights getting them done so I’m a little bit disappointed that something wasn’t working properly. Regardless, I’ll make sure it’s fixed and you should be good to go. Cheers!

I love that site! I was lucky enough to get a cancelation at the end of august for 3 nights. And the water was much higher. That marsh behind the site was more of a lake and the put in was difficult but not like what you had. Thanks for the video!

Thank you so much for the information. I assumed that was the case. Glad you were able to enjoy it in the summer. Cheers!

Wow what amazing colours. I would definitely be like you and it would take me hours to get thru there from all the breathtaking views and that campsite tops it also. Great job on that access also. Looking forward to the next video.❤️

Thanks Alex. I’m pretty sure I saw a trout in part two. Trout fishing is banned on this lake, but let me know if you see it? I put the cam in slow Mo when I saw it. Cheers

@@CamperChristina Why is trout fishing banned ? Is it a sanctuary?

Thanks so much. I’m not sure what’s going on? I’ve had a very very long week staying up till midnight Monday and Tuesday to make sure that those videos all got done. It took me forever to make this series and they should’ve been linked. I will check this morning and you should be good to go within a few hours. Sorry for the issue. Cheers.

Yes, I am very disappointed in the sound quality on my brand new iPhone 15 Pro. I’ve already complained to Apple, but I’m not sure what else I can do? I am constantly editing every clip in five different sections to try to balance the sound out myself manually. It took me seven full days to create this video series because I had to do that. Any other suggestions? I would appreciate it. Cheers.
