I think when you go back and listen to the first Mastodon album and compare his bass playing and vocals to their newer albums, Troy has grown so much as a singer and musician! I’m beginning to think Troy can do no wrong! But all 3 of the frontmen of Killer Be Killed along with Ben Koller on drums, are as solid as they come! This album is so damn amazing and entertaining due to the crazy amount of variety the songs have!

Looks like I'm late to the Killer Be Killed party. I heard a track today on XM radio (which I just signed up for a trial) and stopped here at KZbin to check out more. I'm a kid of the 80's (Exodus, Testament, Kreator, Sepultura, Nuclear Assault, etc.) and this band has ALL those elements from THAT time. I'll have to do more digging, but at the very least, see Max Cavalera in the lineup so it makes sense. The drummer is super active on the kit and again, I hear the 80's thrash influence in there, where countless bands have tried to replicate, and fell short. \m/
