We have 2 mastiff breeds, I don't lite the grill if poops aren't picked up. I wouldn't expect anyone else to bask in the poop ambiance...with food involved. Same with people who have their catbox in the phucking kitchen. Poop dust wafting over everything...🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮

They need to lose the T.V. and start exercising their dogs, exercising themselves, and start cleaning on a regular basis. If you aren't disciplined yourselves, how can you discipline your own child, or your dogs? Discipline isn't punishing; discipline is learning by example which occurs on a regular basis.

Except they apparently only use the poop fence with the two larger dogs. I’m curious as to what’s happening with Killer’s poop, especially since it would be the easiest to not see when someone was outside.

They’ve probably never worked with psychiatric medications before in their life. And unless they take them themselves, they’ll never know what it feels like to deal with side effects or withdrawals. And it won’t bother them the way the dog feels because they don’t have to feel it. They treated it like a game. 🙄
@yogiyoda

I think they should have tried other solutions with the dog before medication. The vet is not a trainer. His only option is medication. Medication should be a last resort since they have their cost, side effects and risks

As a person with severe ADHD and chronic General Anxiety disorder, it makes me feel so insanely uncomfortable to see people who think these kinds of medicines are drugging people or dogs or "changing our personalities" bottom line, anxiety disorders and the like, whether in humans or in dogs, are caused by a chemical imbalance in the brain that the body cannot resolve on its own, the medicines we recieve (while yes being very dangerous if not used correctly and are certainly *MOOD* altering) are simply re-balancing the scales and allowing us to cope properly
@tiffanyholman4028
@tiffanyholman4028 Жыл бұрын
The meds for the dog aren't meant for the humans to have an easier time, its for the dog to feel better and not be so stressed. Their body's can't handle being in fight, flight, or freeze mode all the time. Stopping SSRI's is so dangerous, and the fact that these people see none of that is awful for the dog. The husband is so stereotypically lame it's maddening.

nobody is talking about the chihuahua, look how quickly she behaved well and was being a sweetheart, coming on their laps and being happy ! chihuahuas have such a bad rep when they re the most loving little babies, you just have to treat them right
@AliceBunny05
@AliceBunny05 Жыл бұрын
the truth is alot of dog owners really do not know much about dogs, or what is best for them. 99% of the time a dogs behavior is the result of something their handler is doing, and many owners may not ever pick up on that because what they're doing which causes the undesirable behavior is instinctual to them. if you look at trainers who handle what are considered severe behavioral issues, you'll see how quickly a dog goes from reactive, tense, and fearful to a much more desirable and stable state with just a few tweaks.

This. I kept thinking would they do this to their daughter if she needed medication just because remembering it was inconvenient? So many people also assume meds are temporary when sometimes it is a lifelong thing. As a human who sometimes forgets their medication I can definitely tell when I haven't had it and it does a number on me. Can't imagine how it would feel for a dog who has no idea what's going on.

That poop fence really works. I have a chocolate lab and a Great Pyrenees - we have trained them to poop and pee in their poop fence. We had been doing ti since they were puppies. It takes a lot of training, time, and commitment- but it can be done. Better than walking in a mine poop.😊 Labs are so easy to train, they do anything for food.😂

I've seen the same thing happen with anxious and/or depressed people when they're prescribed similar medications. They seem to think it's a test of moral character to try to be off all medications. Anxiety and major depression are brain disorder, aggravated by social problems, treated by appropriate meds. If a physician is prescribing it for you, follow their directions to the letter. Only change with the physician's approval. It's no more a test of moral character than for a person with high blood pressure to go off their blood pressure meds to see if they're strong enough on their own. Foolish choice.

I totally agree with you. I take antidepressants and with one in particular, if I don't take it by lunchtime, my head starts going fuzzy, and I get really dizzy. as someone who is on that medication ahem shhh. i have missed a dose once or twice, but the reality is, it doesn't work as well if you miss a dose. so don't do it on purpose. 8c it's uncool. i know in humans the half life of it usually is about 2 weeks. but this is a lifetime thing dudes. it doesn't go away. your ptsd is a lifelong working on it and therapy. it's a definite permanent thing.... he will ALWAYS be on it. anxiety disorders, ptsd etc don't magically go away even if he is a dog. he can't just go to doggy dr phil and talk his problems out.

It's really interesting how people can think their dog's behaviour "isn't that bad" and not recognize the extent of their distress even though they continually run circles around the house, yelping and unable to focus on anything else whenever their companion leaves, yet if a person continually ran circles around the house, crying and inconsolable when their friend left, they would be disturbed and seriously concerned. People know animals have emotions, but I think many also don't fully empathize with those emotions or don't really see them as as "real" as our own

You guys should NOT HAVE dogs . If you don’t like cleaning up after them then you can pay someone to do it for you.

My lab has never had a bath. She's just over a year old, she refuses to get in the bath but it's the bath she hates, not the water

There’s spaces were dogs can pee or poop cause there business juices damages plants as well as transfer unwanted diseases and bacteria and when people walk on them it can go to the shoe as well and get in the house,you’ll notice why gardeners have Matt’s you use before going into the garden fields and why there’s little walkways to separate paths to home form actual grass or plants.

You know I don't think many people take into consideration how their pets feel when they have a new child. I know I'm one of those people this episode was very eye opening ❤ I love seeing Victoria do her thing.😊

I take fluoxetine too and issues start to happen when you miss it several days in a row. Don't ever abruptly stop SSRIs or have your animals do that either. That was very foolish of that woman.

I’m guessing animal medication is a lot less intense but also it’s own thing all together, my experience I was taking anti depressants and my ex said “oh you’re fine now you should get off them”… 2 weeks later I had the worst week of my life. It takes time to build up in the system and it takes time to wear off. You can’t just not take it and yes I agree accidentally missing one day, no problem. But if you keep skipping it, it’ll eventually catch up to you because it takes time to get out of your system

Owners like these need to stop treating their dogs like fashion accessories. Please don’t dye your dogs sometimes it might affect their olfactory senses.

Teach em Victoria. Picking up poop with the small trash bags you get when you purchase things is no more gross than cleaning a dirty diaper. It's all in the head. I've cleaned up poop for years. The back yard looks good.
