I feel like at least the end of Ep 5 is actually gonna lead to some sort of different development for Frenchie, but I wish they could realize they can have them develop without including both characters together because when they're lumped together there's no where for them to go besides the same repetitive plotlines

Ryan is going through such a hard time. I wish the show would go a little bit more on the loneliness he feels and how confusing and scary everything is to him.. especially as a teenager. But there are already so many story lines...

starlight is definitely no angel you cant be evil and change the course of someone's life for the worse and blame them for not dealing with it the way you choose to be morally right, firecracker is selling outrage and fueling the racial tension and YES she knows what she's doing but I wonder what if starlight was kind to her maybe she be a different person today

Maybe. It is tragic that firecracker couldn't move on. Maybe she didn't have a support system. Annie was a kid when she bullied firecracker. It's her mom's fault for training her to be like that. Annie didn't intentionally want to destroy firecracker's life. Annie is one of the kindest people in this show & the kindest female character in my opinion so yes if anyone's an angel, it's her. I do find her annoying when she interacts with Butcher cuz he's my favourite character but still. She's not even a killer like Kimiko. Neither does she turn a blind eye when homelander kills innocents like Maeve did all the time.

@@kaze.14 your logic is flawed because it feeds into "everybody's a nepo baby at some point" meaning someone treated her mom like that that's why she did what she did to starlight what about her grandma and people before her, you see my point, its easy to say oops sowwy for ruining your life and giving you a bunch of issues now you have to deal with it because you're an adult now, THATS NOT GOOD ENOUGH, I get that she sees how wrong she was but she doesn't do anything about it she could go on tv and say hey I said these things to firecracker I was a horrible teenager but she thinks why ruin my image instead I'm gonna get drunk its easy to take sides and give people we like an exit, everyone hates bullies until they are someone they know or like but if I learned anything from this show is that both sides are beyond messed up, Sorry for the long comment :)

@@kaze.14 Sure, the intention to destroy her life is not there, but isn't that the case with most bullying cases? Bullies don't want to destroy the victim's life. They think it's a joke/they're having fun. But the trauma that the victim's experience are carried for whole life. Also, every bully will have some kind of backstory on why they are that way (mostly involving the parents), but why would that excuse them of their actions. Annie was being a classic bully when she was a kid/teen. Yes, it's because of the pressure to win the pageants and stuff because of her mom, sure. But it's her actions. Sure she's nice and kind now, but she'll have to face her past actions anyways (which is the theme of this season anyways).
