Many are showing hate not because of the music but him not being afraid to go with how he felt. They are so use to being controlled and putting out music that has no soul or originality that they are having a hard time being happy with his decision. He gave the world the best of him, and that should be enough if he has decided to move on. Happier seeing him be at peace within, then go and chase today's sound and get backlash for not acting his age or touch subjects not personal to him. If they really claim to love and support him then they should respect his decision to make flute music now. He is still the same 3k, just older and wiser and want to be at peace in his own way.

The disrespect that this album is getting is so fucked up from this space. I’m a fan of Andre from my teenage years (living in Upstate NY) but am a huge fan of Carlos Niño also in my adult life (and have been blessed to chop it up with him on several accessions now living out here in LA) who produced and played multiple instruments on the ENTIRE ALBUM.

This is what's disturbing about how both ambient music and electronic music are perceived by "popular" society. As an ambient music artist, and Andrea's album is VERY MUCH an ambient album, you DO NOT HAVE TO BE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ANY DRUGS to fully indulge in this gorgeous genre of music. Do what you want, but people as influential as Killer Mike and Bootleg Kev should not spread this narrative. It tarnishes our music and makes it even more difficult for us to spread to the masses.

Once was enough for me. I’m all about the beats/production and lyrical flow ect. This has non of it so I don’t have any use for it in my life. The 3k album isn’t for hiphop fans. It’s a background music record for some fancy art gallery or some place I never hang at. Or played in a elevator somewhere. Might be good to go to sleep too as well.
