Really an underrated weapon on the firebug. Sometimes it can be really good not using flames all the time. Combine this thing with the helios and you got a giga good loadout.

Out of all the firebug weapons in the game, the Trench gun is my favorite, a shotgun with dragonbreath is bad ass, to me, the mac 10 is what I pick when I feel like burning while also having the option to pop a head at the time, and yeah, I just say Boi when I bash too, your accent is addicting lol

Going for a projectile based load out over ground fire can be fun and also effective, you lose crowd control, but if you use DOT with projectile skills the Helios, Incendiary rifle, MAC10, even spit fires, the burn is most effective compared to ground fire .

I personally use Ground Fire with the Caulk n Burn and Dragon's Breath

@@twoDie4 but of course, ground fire is superior to BBQ, projectile builds like this with the MAC10/Incendiary rifle/Helios . Ect are more played like a Fire DOT Commando perk. The DOT damage on BBQ makes these guns the most effective possible, the same way Ground fire makes flame based weapons more effective. BBQ Bullet hoses are fun every once in a while when you want something different on the firebug. OG ground fire setup is Dragon Breath + Microwave gun (a better caulk n burn) with Helios for boss battles (with 80 shots in magazine) Additionally; to extra mag size skill is mathematically superior to the damage skill , since you can have 12 shots instead of 6 in your Dragon breath, and 200 ammo in your Microwave * The damage skill doesn't actually apply to ground fire 🔥 so magazine size is the way to go( since you can double total clip damage), only the initial burn is increased by the damage skill.

The only reason people bash on the firebug is because it's a notorious kill thief, not that it really matters. I've also heard it's "easy mode" which implies it requires zero technique to use efficiently.

If Firebug was easy mode more people would be using it honestly. Zerker, gunslinger, demo seem more easy to me. There is definitely a technique to playing firebug at an expert level with the microwave gun, but anyone can aim at the floor and use ground fire 🔥

It was always a beast. Even more when support got the 75% magazine size buff. It's a stronger semi auto AA12 that has healing darts. Usually underrated on support.

Try 6-player challenges. Like limiting yourself to a single 1858 revolver or SG 500 or other mostly useless weapon.

I think you need to increase the difficulty with the mod that makes the game think there’s more than 1 player, anything can survive on solo while playing like a potato, I don’t think the game’s balanced for it at all
