I would love to see the Mother Nature tree with her painted in black - love the stencils so much! I tried to make a plate but forgot to cover the stencil with cornstarch and it got all messed up. This inspires me to try again! Love spending time with you! 💜

Oh my goodness, I really like all of these. Out of the first two plates out of the kiln, I kept going back to the green one, but I love them both. Everything else as well, but the tree of life wins out over the wilderness ones.

I would be in the same dilemma as you are as all your plates turned out gorgeous, including the cracked one. That would have made a very beautiful platter. I feel so inspired by all your work as I am also planning to make lots of plates and I also bought lots of stencils. Thank you so much for sharing.

I love the wilderness ones and the tree with the human form! Can’t make up my mind! Lots of beautiful pots. When I saw the plates on the middle of two half shelves I was really surprised! I would never fire a large piece over two shelves. I have large cookies so I don’t have to do that. Maybe some powdered kiln wash would help them glide on the shelves for a better result!!!

The foot is small enough that it sits on one shelf. I've also found with the Advancer shelves, things are able to move so I don't need sand under them.

The plates are beautiful! I love the one with the human body in the trunk. I also like the idea of different designs on each plat in a set. Maybe with a common border on the rim, or just a common theme. Unconventional suits you anyway! 🙂 Too bad about the crack and the warp. But great firing! Congrats!

Yes, for everyday use, it's a quieter design. But I go for the green.

I really liked the wilderness ones. But the tree of life ones are elegant. Could you do wilderness ones on that smaller plate. For only me in my house smaller would work better.

Love the plates with the mountains and animals. I vote for those, but for serving bowls and such the trees of life. It's a shame about your cracked platter. Have to say though I love green. Try to rest ( ha ha) you're pushing yourself.

As for a set for home… I’m always going to choose wilderness. I love tree of life but they don’t have the personal connection that I have for the wilderness. But that’s just me 😊🙏

It's a quality piece of birch plywood. It's held up great, but I built the worktable so that I could replace it if and when I need too.

What do you do when something breaks like that ? Throw away?

It will probably get broken up and then I use the shards in the bottom of my flower pots to help cover the hole but still allows water to drain.
