I thought I’d be able to remember my favorites but there are too many! I should have kept a list. I’ve always loved red eyed tree frogs and loved the mug where it was holding on. But I think the tea pot and large bowls were my top favorites. I loved the way the glazes blended on the second bowl but the bowl with the bird and the nest with the eggs was fantastic! I don’t like the muddy waters glaze, either, but you never know when you might need it. I’d love to see how you made the roses and the other things you mentioned as possible videos. Watching this was amazing!

Hi Anna, what a gorgeous set of pieces in this kiln opening. It’s too hard to choose a favorite since I liked all of them but I’ve got to say that last jar you showed with the frog is very special. You should keep it for yourself. Thanks for sharing. I would love to see how you mix your beautiful blue glaze and how you did those roses. It would also be nice to See a video of your glazing techniques. Warmly, Liana

Hi Liana, thank you so much! I also liked the little froggy jar!😊 That was a last minute decision since I had a ball of clay that wasn’t enough for a mug. It’s funny how things turn out nice when you don’t overthink it!😂 As soon as I’m done with these pieces, I’ll do more tutorials. I’m taking notes for future videos and thanks for your suggestions!🫶🏻🥰

Oh my Ana what talent. Your sculpted pieces are amazing! Love love that last bowl you pulled out. I agree muddy waters is hard to love. If you have lots of crystals in your jar it can look ok over norse blue.

Thank you so much Lisa! Also thank you for inspiring me with your work!💙 Are talking about the jar I need to refire? I’m always open to suggestions. I know the flux blossom was way too thin at the bottom, that’s why I didn’t get the other glazes to run. Thanks again!🙏🏻❤️

Hi. I'm sure if you combined muddy waters with - maybe ancient jasper or river birch you could get some nice results. I got nice results when I put some over Abbotts Pollen , being a mid range matt glaze, made in New Zealand.

A Favorite would be too hard to choose! When you refire do you do to the same temp?
@anasclayhouse
@anasclayhouse 5 ай бұрын
Thank you Lorelie! I try to do the same temp and tweak the hold time depending what I want the outcome to be. If I want more drips I increase the hold by 5-10 minutes. If I just want coverage, I either leave it the same or decrease the hold by 5 minutes. I hope I can fix the issue with the Fairy Rose!🤞💞
