first of all SHE STILL LOOKS STUNNING. the fact that she is 53 and that show first came out 30 years ago its crazy when you look back and realize they were really young playing those roles. 20 something year olds in the 90s seemed so much more "grown" and older than they do now.

The crazy part about the early 90's and the Living Single wigs is...THIS is EXACTLY when women black began to embrace various looks every chance they got. Whether it was getting your hair done weekly, bi-weekly, semi-weekly, or monthly, every chance they got they wanted something different and Regine wearing wigs plays right into that level of versatility the 90s ushered in. ♥

One fact that Kim left out of her hair story was her hairstyles on "Fact of Life" was a Black Woman. That's why her hair was really heathy after the first seasons of the show. Not many shows today with mostly African American cast can get a Makeup or hairstyles who understands what the cast really needs to look good on camera.

I totally understand the character Kim played on Living Single. I’be had alopecia for over 25 yrs. Wigs are what helps me everyday.. Even though I her tired of wearing them. I’m glad it's an option...

In my high school 🏫 days back in the early 80s, a lot of girls were wearing their hair in that mushroom style. I love you Kim. You're a true icon and class act. 👏🏻
