Dude is legitimately just built like that. I think playing into that is super fun too. He can't help but tear into people and find out every nitty-gritty piece of information that can possibly exist about them. He really is like a crack addict scraping the bag for any remaining dopamine he can possibly hope to find. Just.. in this scenario the bag is the person and the crack is information. Probably goes a long way to what makes the force put up with him. That and his incredible intuition and empathy. How these Innocence individuals are described as being so fucking crucial to the natural order of things, but for some reason it was perfectly nonproblematic that there was a period of 7500 years where Innocents were completely absent! Such nonsense upon stilts!

Kim is the partner that Harry needs, Jean was the partner that maybe respected him in the past, but right know he only sees him as a pain in the ass having to work with him, someone with a condition like Harry doesn't get better with a equal asshole behavior like Jean, i mean Judit even believes he has some sort of Brain Trauma , that's not the way of acting with your partner especially in this situation, i understand Jean's behavior, and Harry probably doesn't even deserve to work with them anymore, but he needs seeing that he's alone and he is also insane.

That's correct! I forgot about that! After a while, Kim asks you why you take drugs like speed if you gain his trust. If you tell him it helps you to solve cases, he doesn't judge. He says something along the lines of "Hmm. Makes sense.", and moves on. He does see you get shit done (pass skill checks) while under the influence so it's hard to argue against that, I guess. He still doesn't like seeing Harry do drugs in front of him because it's super unprofessional but it's hard to argue against results, I guess.

I think you are forgetting that it just triggers his memory to go blank and because of that he actually can solve cases. He loses context and environment but still keeps his detective skills like visualization, and because there are no past experiences he have nothing that counters his thoughts.

​@@donparseti5552 There is lots of ambiguity in the game so I won't say you are wrong, but people in game do note in dialogue that alcohol and drugs generally don't trigger amnesia and this happening to Harry is very unusual. I think it's implied that it's some reaction to the pale anomaly. At numerous points in the game it's shown Harry has some physiological difference to Kim with the radio stuff, being more sensitive.
