She made it to 90 and pretty sure she's attending the TCM cruise in November. Just rewatched her interview with the one and only Robert Osborne. So delightful and insightful.

This interview must have been after when she filmed The Mirror Crack'd (1980) with Elizabeth Taylor, Rock Hudson and Angela Lansbury as Miss Marple

My mom watched all of your movies Kim and I was always with her as far as I could remember. My favorite was the with Gary Stewart and Bell Book and Candle. Not sure if you are still around/ /but to me you are/were/ a great actress.

Her voice is deep and sexy. Reminds me of Kathleen Turner’s when she was just starting out. Accent and breathy quality are so similar.

Kim is much more earthy, and grounded than I ever expected. A chunk of her career was sex pot roles, and Playboy centerfolds. She has a unique presence on film. Her personality in conversation is just as unique.

Sounds like you're confusing her with Jayne Mansfield. Kim appeared briefly in Playboy in a tasteful layout. As far as sexpot roles go, I suppose she appeared in some sexpot roles, but as someone intelligent.

@@Scorchy666 Hey, your input is appreciated. I know the two actresses growing up w/their careers through the years. Kim's role in "the Notorious Land lady", Boys Nite Out, Kiss Me Stupid, and Legend of Lila Claire exploited her physical feminine presence, probably type casting her from previous roles. Her emotional range is a bit shallow, meaning shes not a whiner, or a girly girl. "Vertico" displays her unique specific acting range well and will be her legacy. Lucky Kim.

Born 1933. Hard to believe that she was almost 50 when she gave this interview. Somewhere between 10 and 15 years since she had retired.
