100% agree - I just don't get why writers write Aaron out for a few weeks, over and over again... so many fans must drop Emmerdale and never come back - ive done this many times - he holds this soap together.Also don't get why Jackson, Marc Silcock, doesn't seem to get much acting work - have scouts never seen this storyline- they must be mad - he was great in Privates - Emmerdale BRING Marc back, doesn't have to be with Aaron (hey Dallas did it)

This is the episode we saw in Finland tonight and it just broke my heart into little pieces. I've watched the whole storyline and there's a part of me that wants to stop watching the whole show because of what is going to happen. But then there's another part of me that wants to keep watching because oh my god, Danny and Mark are so talented and brilliant.

agree, and I live in uk ! only watched this on utube for this storyline, very powerful. have stopped/started many times, is very gripping. Nothing like "Days of our Lives" from USA, or Chrolli (German) or Elias Story (Europe) etc all have their part to play, but this on Emm is best Ive seen. ITV should though have kept Marc long term with Aaron (Danny) and given them a (+) LGBT story - be a leader in prime time - missed opportunity

The writing is amazing! I'm stunned. I cried more than I did on the last clip. So sad for both of them. I can't imagine what Jackson is suffering through. Unbearable obviously. I feel so bad for Aaron ... something said to me like that would almost kill me. I'm sure he feels bad enough. I do think Aaron loves Jackson, but he's scared. He's scared to say words which he has probably NEVER said to ANYONE in his life. Rejection, realistic or not, can cripple someone from admitting love.

Need to thank Emmerdate, their writes and all the actors involved in this storyline because this has been one of best storie's that I have seen so far... Its really heart-breaking and can actually break anyone in tears... The story is so intense that it just makes you think about life really deeply and makes you ponder of what would you have done and how would you have reacted if you were in either Aaron-Jackson's shoes... Hurtful as it was to Aaron, I'm glad Jackson said everything he felt he needed to say. Now is not the time for him to bottle anything up. I hear his pain & anger as being ultimately not about Aaron but about himself, his condition now & what he wanted and couldn't get and now believes he'll never have. Aaron loves Jackson, but he couldn't let himself be in love with him, and now it's too late for an "I'm in love with you." At least for now, the ship has sailed on that one. THIS IS HARD BUT REAL.

Powerful scenes and amazing acting. Wow. Jackson’s pain is so raw. I empathize with his rage. Tragically cut down at such a young age. He feels so out of control and helpless and angry at himself mostly. So, what better way to punish himself than to lash out at Aaron who he loves the most? Hopefully, Aaron won’t give up. He needs all his strength and determination to not give up on Jackson. On a side note, I’ve fallen in love with Hazel. She is such a lovely mother to her son.

(cont)It's very tragic if you think about it..most of us go through life with just getting our hearts broken, but poor Jackson not only got his heart broken but paralyzed from the shoulders down as a result of HIS love for Aaron. If the writers do intend on A being IN LOVE with Jackson, it's not right now..maybe in the weeks/months to come he will fall in love with Jackson after seeing how brave and courageous he is tackling his unfortunate circumstances.

@mkmz69014 жыл бұрын
Despite all the harsh things Jackson said, you can't really blame him for being so upset. His world has been turn completely upside down and there's nothing he can do get away from it. I know he didn't want to intentional hurt Aaron the way he did but his frustration was really bottled up. The only thing I hope is that Jackson's word about still not saying "I love you" have really made Aaron think about how he truly feels about Jackson. Although I don't think Jackson would it believe right now.
@robertn80014 жыл бұрын
The more times I watch this, I think Jackson did exactly the right thing lashing out at Aaron. If I were in Jackson's situation, I could not stand being around someone I loved, who didn't love me. Especially being in such a humiliating state. You would know they were there out of pity or guilt, not love, and who could stand being around someone you love being around you who is not helping you because they love you. It could only make you feel more like a burden and chore than a lover. Aaron go.
@dipsyhappy14 жыл бұрын
When he got the question "why are you here?" Aaron could at least have said "because I care about you", even though is not exactly what jackson wanted to hear it's much much better than "because you need me", he could even had said "because I need you" like he has said before.

I think of Elizabeth Kübler-Ross's book "On Death and Dying".In her studies she found the second stage of the 5 stages of Grief is Anger. That's where Jackson is, He feels dead. His anger is directed to others, and himself, but to Aaron the most. because Aaron hurt him the most.Jackson is the kindest person, of course he didn't wish Aaron had died and doesn't blame him for his accident.Jackson will be sad he said those things and want to seen Aaron tho he reminds him of what he'll never have.
@pilskadden14 жыл бұрын

I'm just heartbroken. I know its only a story but this story is tearing me apart. Must it always be a tragedy? I love them both and want them to be together.

I think that jackson doesn't really feel this way. He is angry for certain. however, I think that he is probably doing this to force Aaron to move on. he is trying to force him away so as not to burden him or tie him down. Aaron is after all only 18. I believe that Aaron will be persistent at everyone's urging and you will see Jackson come around. It will somehow have a happy ending.

I think that right now J may hate Aaron but I also think he's trying to make it easy for Aaron ( or so he thinks). He does not want Aaron to stay outof gilt for what happened ...And Aaron with the I love you thing...Aaron was true to him self and said: i don´t know if i love you..and i can´t lie..NOT TO YOU.
@sobelius14 жыл бұрын
The nurses comments about stages of grief were the most important and "realistic" comments in the episode. Also, Jackson has to go through this if any change in his condition is ever going to be meaningful (that is, if and when the soap writers allow him to move again). Same for Aaron. Luke and Noah pushed each other away but never so eloquently and never with such clear pain - I blame that on the American soap writing style. I'm upset this is where things are but hoping for a ray of light.
@AS-wj1du Жыл бұрын
He also thinks Aaron is there out of pity because he couldn't say he loved him before. And still can't but Aaron does love him. He's just scared. That's why he pushed him away later. Didn't stop till he left. Aaron did come back to him after he pushed him away. He said he loved him and probably regretted not saying it before

cont ... Aaron feels it I'm sure, but he doesn't want to say something he is unsure of. He won't like to Jackson, which I think is extremely noble. He won't force himself to say something he can't realize yet. His fear is in control. Hopefully he'll overcome this. And I freaken hope Jackson overcomes his issues (physical state and all) soon too! So sad :-(

I can totally see where Jackson is coming from. How long has he been toying with the idea that he'd made a BIG mistake with Aaron? We learn that his friends have been telling him to get out of the relationship too. Hazel, on a couple of occasions, did like wise. He gave him second chance after second chance and then.......... He will be hating himself too. I wouldn't blame Aaron but I understand Jackson's anger and frustration.

@robertn800 Yes, I think a lot of fans on here have got carried away and treated this like the romance of the year - but as you point out, looking back at the facts, it really WASN'T. Aaron was just finding his way, was certainly not mature enough for a full on relationship. Jackson just happened to be the one to help his transition.

Did a mini marathon of A&J episodes this am.I think I can count on one hand the number of times Aaron acted affectionate to Jackson. Even if he was confused or something after their first time, he was surly, distant, and couldn't even give J a peck on the cheek. He treated J like a one night Trick. He broke important promises to J,didn't even get a Birthday present and ruined it. didn't want people to think of them as a couple.The first time J broke up, he put his stuff in a trash bag.

@nyser1 Believe it or not, I actually think that statement of wishing Aaron dead was probably one of the the most honest and primal emotion by Jackson. The writers are not only showing how Jackson blames Aaron for his paralysis but also how angry he is at Aaron for changing his nature,remember after the suicidal/fumes comment, he stated "how sick is that" (how he's feeling), meaning he realizes wishing that is wrong but that's what he's been reduced to b/c of Aaron. So sad but also very real :(
@nyser114 жыл бұрын
@marcojacksonlvr Well, I was actually responding to @Misstaralouise1994's concern/upset at Jackson "wishing Aaron was dead" - a reference to the suicidal/car full of fumes comment. You raise an interesting point though. I imagine that there were kernels of truth in the emotions expressed, but I can't agree that Jackson meant every word he said. The emotional turmoil is speaking and that's understandable, but Jackson makes his goal clear: "I want you to leave me" and he pushes until he gets that.
