I got rid of a few bags last year, all of them sold on my Ebay store. I have two sisters, but they don't need more bags, because both of them have too many... so I just go ahead and sell all my unwanted bags.

Wow Great job! Your content is amazing! I went from 40 handbags to 14 and I'm trying to limit to 10 handbags. It's very hard because it's my favorite thing! But I've decided not to buy any more bags in a year. I think for the Valentino bag is the right call: If the metal doesn't work, it's very noticeable and you can't mix&match there's no point.

And it sounds like you've done an amazing job or downsizing already, so sooner or later you'll get to your goal. And even if you don't reach that number, as long as you use and love all your bags, it shouldn't matter, hehe 😉 At least that's how I approach things, and so far it always worked out. Kim you're wonderful. Great content, enjoyable as always. 🥰 Oh you would be so proud of me, I made a list of what I need and possibly need, and divided it in priority categories. That way, when I am shopping, walking through some stores etc, I know exactly what I need the most, and in that way-which items would make the most difference in my closet. It was really life changing, no more regrets or mindless buying 😀 It really helped me to put things in perspective, and I was inspired by your lists in your video, where you had one for shirts, pants, dresses etc.

I’m so addicted to shopping that even these decluttering videos are making me feel spendy rn because of all the beautiful items you’re showing. It’s really disappointing. I’ve tried a Low Buy since Jan but I failed and I am now debating whether to try again next year or just focus on not overspending my budget. I would really like to see myself succeed yet it’s proven harder than I thought for me. Wish me luck.

I so get how you feel, and honestly what I can say is that the problem lies with how you perceive shopping and new items (which I was the same before, no judgement here 😊). I also tried to put limits on myself and create shopping bans but I never succeeded because I always believed I'm missing out on something and that I'm depriving myself. But when I started decluttering, tracking my wardrobe, and also working on other areas of my life, my perception of shopping changed. Now I even see shopping as painful, haha, or annoying, which I never thought I would. So my suggestion would be to start exploring within yourself: when are you triggered to buy something, how do you feel in that moment, why do you feel this item is going to make you happier, etc. You can ask yourself questions and journal on them, so maybe you can see another perspective. Also try tracking your wardrobe, or your purchases, so you can see how much use you get out of your items, that helped me immensely too. Or you can try talking out loud when you want to buy something, and say exactly what you feel - for example: "I would like to buy this top because it will make cool and people we think I'm cool and I will be loved and therefore happy". Often times when we speak our thoughts we realise how silly they are, and I still use this technique for when I feel I'm too negative 🙈 I mean there are so many things that you can try, but I suggest you go a bit deeper so you can really become free 🤍 Also, one amazing thing I noticed with your comments is that you don't give up, and that is worth a lot, so just keep trying out new things and never give up on yourself, you'll get there sooner or later ❤️

So I'm definitely making progress, but I just can't bring myself to mix a really noticeable silver belt with a gold handbag, or vice versa 🙈😃 Thank you so much for sharing, you gave me some food for thought 😘

Je ne sais quoi quite literally translates as ‘I don’t know what’ you’re usage was perfect. I think most folks in BiH and Serbia also have a Croatia purse 😂 I use those little plastic bags banks use for coins. They gave them for free and have one for Serbia and one for Euros. I haven’t been to Slovenia since I was a small child as visits to then Yugoslavia focused on family visits, but my cousin went with her fiancé last year and they loved it! The only Slovenia story I have is when we travelled to Yugoslavia one summer (1978!) we went by car and reached Maribor in the evening and so stayed over. The following morning I only wanted bread and ham for breakfast so mum ordered that and she had an omelette. When the omelette arrived it so good apparently I ate it all. Poor mummy! The hotel staff thought it was so cute, they gave mum another omelette on the house to make up for hers being ‘stolen’ When is a good time visit, when there’s not too many tourists?

And what a lovely story, it's nice to hear you have nice memories 😍 And I would say it's best to visit in the warmer days, maybe in May or beginning of June, not so much in July and August because there is a lot more people. Also, September works as well, but if you like the cold, then December is also amazing in Ljubljana with all the different lights and Xmas vibe, hehe 😊
