Starting from a gentle, sweet lullaby, singing to her child who is coming, and then turning into an emotional plea for more time, singing about her daughter who is slipping away. Truly moving and gets me every time in the theatre and online.

This song makes me weep every time I hear it, I wish she would have gotten Tony nominated for this role. This is my favorite song on the cast album by far. It just breaks my heart to hear her go from a small plea to a belty and hopeless ballad. Ali Mauzey is such an AMAZING performer.
