You want to say that men resent you only because you make more them, is it because the men are jealous of you or because you have belittled and disrespected them becauae you feel like you have power in the relationship because of the wealth you have accrued? The women probably can't honestly answer that question because it would take accountability and the ability to be self-aware to know the difference...🤷🏿♂️

Women in either scenario aren’t resentful until they get left having to do everything without help, respect or acknowledgment. Men don’t have an issue dating “down” because they hold the power and if they are dating “down” by a significant degree, they’re usually financing the woman’s participation in hobbies. A lot of men are too proud or feel immascualted if their female partner tries to do the same. And as someone who went to an Ivy League school and lived in West London, the hobbies and mindset are different. The wealthy or upper class are looking at relationships as an exercise in branding. Will marrying someone who is an entertainer or vocal be good for the brand. If people understand this, some of the newly educated women may realise they’re better off with someone of their own class and opt to rise together. resentment- indignation or ill will stemming from a feeling of having been wronged or offended. synonym: anger. If she is saying blue collar men have resentment towards these "higher class" women that they've coupled with, what did these women do to cause the resentment? 10 out of 10 times it's disrespect. Typically the mans indignation will be gaslit as ignorance/"this is above your head/paygrade", or jealousy of her status, class and station when the reality is that you said or did something that is an affront to the senses and sensibilities of that man. They'll blame it on the man or class difference but in reality it's lack of self awareness and give a fu*k.

I can only attest to my situation, my wife has always made more than me, yet she's a traditional woman. She doesn't talk down or try to degrade me, she asks for my opinion on financial matters, and she respects me as a man and even strokes my ego a bit. This is a 20 plus year relationship, married for 9. Her finances weren't a factor in my decision to marry her, particularly because she didn't have the job at the time. She simply gets me, I don't know how or why, but she understands that I've been through the ringer and took a chance on me, in turn I offered all that I am to her. She showed me that she truly cared for me as a person outside of my physical appearance and lustful desire. This might be an exception to the rule, but I'm not going to say that there isn't someone out there for everyone, it's just harder to connect than it's ever been.

Ok, so... 1. Working next to/with a man does not give you "access" to him. You are a colleague, thats all. Work life and personal life are not the same. 2. Certain women thinking they are a different class to "blue collar" men isnt necessarily true. Many working men make six figures. At or above many of these women that claim to be above them. 3. Outside of a few certain subjects getting good grades just shows how well a person has been indoctrinated, not educated. Lets be honest, the real issue many women have for not dating "blue collar" men is superficial. Its about being "seen" by others to be on a higher social status. Most men dont give a fat rat's a$$ about social status.

There’s nothing wrong with having preferences. However, a higher income is not a 1:1 replacement for beauty. I think high-earning women with average looks resent being treated like they have average looks. We have to respect that the comforts of polite society are not possible without our blue collar brothers.

She probably does not want a man she has to "handle"... It all boils down to interests and lifestyle and social circles. She is Ivy league educated. It's not about money, money does not equal the access you attain when you go the education/white collar route. If a woman enjoys a more cultured life and wants to be around intellectuals and enjoy the arts, etc, why would she choose to be with a man who probably does not and can't afford to be in those circles? Why drag that man into settings where in a lot of cases he won't even understand the conversations or have shared experiences etc? She would have to pay his way or live at a lower standard than she earned for herself, that gets old and awkward becasue of the gender roles so many choose to embrace. If you are gonna be pro gender roles, etc then you have to understand why women ultimately have trouble with men in a lower station in life than they are. Everybody is not for everybody. Not sure why so many have an issue with this, people are so quick to talk about how so many black women don't make any money and don't have education, etc, why no go mess with one of them? And I don't then men who have accomplished things with their lives should pair off with unaccomplished uneducated women either.... It makes no sense to level up and then have to lowkey slum it to be in a relationship... Nobody becomes a millionaire to have someone trying to take them to Applebee's on dates...

We SERIOUSLY need to talk about this “Pretentious Elitism” among Black Women with “Degrees”. They really do think these “Degrees” make them better than everyone else, particularly black Men. I don’t think we realize how much low level contempt is there in our communities. From birth our women are presented with talk about “Niggas ain’t ish” and Men are always presented as these “bumbling idiots” who “Couldn’t tie their shoe on straight without the black woman”. No wonder they don’t think Black Men are fit to lead and refuse to follow black men. Ebony K Williams made comments about Blue Collar Workers being C & D Students, is simply not necessarily true. First of all, there are PLENTY of C & D Students that grow up to be business owners & CEOs worth Millions/Billions of dollars, the same way there are Smart, Intelligent people that made A & Bs that decided to go other routes that college and business. Then there is Kimberly Foster here, who thinks that no Blue Collar worker owns a suit or that if he was at a Corporate Event he wouldn’t know how to behave or have intellectual conversations. Both sound Elitists, Pretentious, Arrogant, Egotistical, Entitled, Superficial, Condescending, and just plain Insulting to a HUGE portion of the male population who does the Jobs that women won’t/aren’t willing to do which make our modern Society Work. Many Men looked at the job market & CHOOSE to do those jobs over going to College & getting their “Degrees”. I know plenty of Women today with Bachelor’s & Master’s Degrees that act like they are just “Balling” with “Boss Chick” and “Entrepreneur” in their Instagram pages showing themselves living “Lifestyles” and “Getting Flown Out”, that still only male $40k to $75k\year, but are anywhere from $50 to $100k in Student Loan Debt, $30k in consumer debt, have an expensive car note, and live in an over price apartment in the city with no savings living paycheck to paycheck for a job they hate that don’t care about them, but because they got a “Degree” and small business where they sell Candles or Hair Bundles on the side online they think “They Cute & A Boss”, & think are BETTER than Men EVEN in their Financial Bracket, particularly the one’s who didn’t go to College or who have Blue Collar Jobs. Yet these Men will have a House, No Debt, benefits, Savings, a Retirement, and a paid off car note living comfortably, making just as much and many times MORE than she does. There are plenty of blue collar Men making $100k. And yes, many of these Men are educated & highly intelligent that went to the Military, maybe got a skill/trade, & some got an associates or Bachelor’s degree, but they don’t go around thinking what they do defines them or their partner AS A PERSON. A Man can be a Police Officer, Fire Fighter, Social Worker, School Teacher, Coach, Non-Profit Community organizer, Activist or a plethora of Jobs which do not make a lot of money or require a degree, but could still be Highly Intelligent and a great person. And one last thing that so Many Black Women today do not realize or understand, is that a Man does not hit his Financial stride on average until the ages of 35 to 45, & a Man hits his financial peak around 45 to 55. Eboni is 39, so her points about him owning the Bus is actually a valid one in that sometimes that is the direction many of these Men are going which most black women never get to see cause they will dismiss a Man immediately off of where he is at right now in life, & not based off where he is going. Men do not forget this. I’m not talking about a Man who is just talk, but you can look at a Man if you pay attention to his ACTIONS in relation to his Goals, his Vision, his Ambitiousness, his Willpower, his Work Ethic, his Integrity, his Heart etc, those ACTIONS will tell you if he is going places. There are Men who start off as just Electricians, Plumbers, Construction Workers who end up owning businesses in those fields & making Hundreds of thousands to even Millions of dollars. I know a young brother, good looking, in shape who did Security & now owns his own Security company that last I check was already making $30k\Month that’s growing EXPONENTIALLY. Women like Eboni K Williams and Kimberly Foster would have overlooked him as a Partner thinking “She was better than him” and that “He wasn’t good enough” for her. Far too many black women want to stand at the Finish Line & pick the winners & you wonder why the Men don’t respect or want you when they make it. The point here is not to bash black women but to open your mind up to another way of thinking, cause women from other cultures do not make this mistake at this same rate, & at the end of the day I want to see black love thrive, and this mindset hampers it. I’m not saying that if you are a Lawyer you have to date a bus driver, but the problem is in the mindset where the overall focus is on things that are Material & Superficial over How that Man treats you, his Goals, Aspirations, Ability to lead, his Character, does he come from a good family, would he be a great Husband and/or Father, is he reliable, sticks by his word, is he faithful, how does he treat you, make you feel, do you have the same values & want the same things out of life, etc. Love is not a Mathematical Check list where 6ft, plus 6 figures, plus 6 pack = Love. Unfortunately, we put far too much emphasis today on Materialistic & Superficial stuff that we often overlook People that could have brought us true Happiness, & ironically some would have even gotten us the other stuff to. It is a lack of Character & discernment in our dating culture which needs to be changed.

As a Black Man, let me explain another point of view “About Lifestyle”. So many black women go to school, get degrees, pursue these amazing jobs & careers so that they can “Achieve a Lifestyle”, which they ultimately DEMAND from a Man. I thought that was literally the entire point of you going out & “Getting the bag”, was so “You ain’t gotta depend on no Man” cause “You don’t need a Man for nothing” 🤔. Why does a Man have to fund your lifestyle when you can do it for yourself? The deference & why it doesn’t work is that a Man gets those achievements so that he can provide for his wife & family, so he can have someone to SHARE those things with, most women get those things strictly for themselves so that they won’t need a Husband. Women need to pick a lane. This is why Men don’t “Respect the Job/Career” or those “Degrees”, cause 9 times out of 10, as the Man, He will still be expected to “Provide a certain “Lifestyle” for that woman regardless, which is a more “Traditional” style role. So whether a Man Makes $150k\year & the woman makes $250k, $150k, $80k, $40k, or $0, that Man is usually expected to be the one to Ask her out, plan the dates, be willing to pick her up, PAY for said dates, and often buy more gifts and trips throughout the course of the relationship in order to “Give her a Lifestyle”. Even for the most Successful, beautiful women like Eboni K Williams ain’t providing for that Man’s Lifestyle. So all that talk about your degrees, money, & accomplishments, the Man LITERALLY AIN’T BENEFITING FROM IT. At least not in any significant way. This is why that more “Educated and Financially” capable woman loses to that woman making $40k or who doesn’t even have a job cause that woman making the more money is not going to be Appreciative for that Man, EVEN WHEN HE DOES THOSE THINGS, cause “She can’t do it herself”! Whereas the women on the lower end will usually be WAY more appreciative. It has nothing to do with “Intimidation”. Men generally love to feel “Useful” and “Wanted”. This is why all this talk about “How much you don’t need us” is not only stupid, but unnecessary. It would be like if you were Hungry and wanted a Chicken Sandwich so you go to the corner and there is a Chick Fil A, and a Popeye’s on the corner. You walk into the Popeye’s and the first thing they say is, “First of all, you could get the out our store for all we care, we don’t need your business for ish! We doing big business over here!” Now, even if that is true, what is the point of that? And how does that make you feel as a customer? And whether or that is true or not isn’t even the point, it is just unnecessary. Then what happens if you go to order and say, “Can I have a Chicken Sandwich with no pickle” and they say, “What type of Tip you gone give me? Naw, I ain’t doing all that, we done already made the sandwiches so you gone take this Sandwich how I give it to you! That’ll be $20”! So you leave and go across to Chick Fil A and as soon as you walk in they are like, “Welcome to Chick Fil A, how may I serve you? Yes you can have that Sandwich with no pickles, that will be $6 and here is a complementary gift card off your next purchase! Pleasure to serve you!” Now, even if the Popeye’s Chicken Sandwich taste better, most will go to that Chick Fil A over that Popeye’s. This is how Men view Beautiful “Educated” Women like Eboni K Williams and Kimberly Foster. Men are not “Intimidated, y’all just provide “Horrible Service”, AKA you are not good partners for a relationship.

This whole conversation is kind of dumb. Kim Foster has been transparent about her upper middle class upbringing, and her now elite status. There’s the regular middle class folks, and then the ones who live in the plantation style homes and had the nicest stuff growing up. The kids from those families grow up with well educated and financially successful parents, bred to go to the Ivies Her opinion is important bc it’s anecdotal evidence of something we already knew: people prefer to marry or date within their socioeconomic class or higher. But the relevancy for the men in this conversation? Unclear. A lot of hurt blue collar men in the comment section (yes, most of them resentful) hating on educated women that weren’t in their zip code to begin with. Only broken men are resentful of others success, men, women & even younger people. All other men content with themselves, grateful for what they have, desire to see others succeed aren't the least bit resentful or jealous of others accomplishments, especially women. Successful, accomplished women who think men are intimidated by their success either need to understand many successful women develop a competitive mindset that make them think they're a better man than men, allow their success to basically give them a mental sex change which is what repels men & not their accomplishments & money. A woman with her own money is a blessing to most men, less money we have to spend trying to make one happy. But what won't be tolerated is a woman who allow her success to go to her head to the point she thinks her status, accomplishments, money means she's superior to men making less, basically forgetting she's still just a woman. The educated successful women need to understand this is the image women before them have create in many men's eyes & if they're not that way they have to find a way to let it be known they're not that way & if it is find a way to change it.

Even the bm who wrote “Is marriage for white peoples” said bw were better marrying outside their race because as you said, the pool of financial stable and/or educated bm that are not currently or have been incarcerated that would be interested in dating within their race is too small.

@Princetonian4eva the problem is divestors use a slight of tongue when fooling bw. They'll show pics/vids of fit/feminine/ childless women in their 20s/early 30s (about 3-5% max) marrying white men & "sell" that as a market to the rest of bw. But most divestors (like 95%) are fat/non feminine/have other men's kids/disagreeable/etc. See, what divestors NEVER zero in on is what SPECIFIC TYPE of bw non-bm marry. Know who? Fit/feminine/friendly/cooperative/submissive/childless - the EXACT SAME archetype marriage caliber bm want. Fat/masculine/mean/disagreeable/combative bw w/other men's kids will NEVER appeal to a large % of men of ANY race. Most Divestor bw don't care what the men THEY WANT MOST want, they only think about what they want. I suggest u pay close attention to the SPECIFIC TYPES of divestor bw who get married. 90% of them ARENT fat, ARENT 35+, DONT have another man's kids. Bw operate as if bm are the only group who should have to put up w/that (and thats bc older generation of bm simps put up with it)

No matter what the men's actions are in this situation women have shown that they dont desire to date any male who isnt making a comparable salary or better. This is solidified if nothing else about women is.

Explain pookies…
@vincemack2042 Жыл бұрын
@c____89 Pookies are men who have an edge to them and by edgy I mean men who "have a bold, provocative, or unconventional quality" to them. These men usually excite women sexually. However, if you notice, those excitements tend to die down once reality and life kicks in. From my experience, this is usually the result of a baby that has to be raised. Then, those men will no longer take priority. The priority will be on finances. Furthermore, pookies tend to have their greatest leverage during the youth and young adult ages. However, they will always have play. But a so called "Pookie" with money will have the pick of the liter even in old age. However, most people aren't living in that way. And for the many, finances dictate the day. Or rather stability. Hence the women complaining about "good men" being absent nowadays. Once you understand that dating is selfish and once you understand the things that women like, then you will understand where "Pookies" fit into this conversation.

Here's the funny part. Im a blue collar worker Been a professional chef for over 20 years. Know what else? I mot only work but attend jazz festivals and art and wine fairs. I am member with at least 2 wineries and enjoy kicking it in the tasting room with my power rangers shirt on. I also like to jet ski, bowl, renaissance faire and a plethora of other activities. Assuming that just cause your blue collar means you don't enjoy the finer things in life is a fallacy. We kust dont over do ot and budget different.

Most black women didn't come from upper class. Most black women's parents didn't even have college degrees. Most of them don't even get college degrees in job fields that they even have a passion for. They just get one because it's what they believe is the fastest way to 100k a year and don't even love what they do. They just want a lifestyle. They don't actually want anything meaningful in life. What man want a woman like that. Plus men with increased opinions are going to exercise them. Guys at the top worked much harder than women do to get there. It ain't just a matter of going to school for a man. If you think he going work ten times harder than a woman to get were he is and not reward himself with multiple women, you are crazy. So the best thing a woman can do for herself is get a blue collar man.

You must be high if you don't think that blue collar men don't "exercise options" as well. If all classes of men cheat, then we might as well gun for the best 😊

To be honest as a man in his late 20's if I didn't have Indian benefits I would not be going to college. College costs too much and most of us don't come from families who can afford to help us get through college. I'm a business management major and what I learned is the average college debt is 37,500 dollars and most degrees we will get unless it's specialized in S.T.E.M., some medical, and management degrees will make 50k with that degree while being 37.5k in debt. You still have to raise a family, get a loan for a house, a car, utilities, rainy days, etc. Men literally just thought about the cost and return on it. You can work blue collar jobs and it might take some time but through hard work and respect from your boss and peers and your a competent leader you can make that 75k and up, I just don't think the women want to wait and build with a man. We have to be preassembled and the fucked up thing about this cycle is they gonna be mad we fucking on the younger chicks when they was going after the older men because the younger men were broke 😅😅

Yes, she doesn’t have the looks and the character to demand much in the dating market from men. She thinks her education and achievements make a man of high status want her. She doesn’t understand men. She’s upset that we don’t work the way she believes we should.

I dated more successfully women and never resented them. Here is the problem they always try to do ashame tactics. If you are around ppl and they compliment something you have she will point out she bought it. Anything she does financial she always point it out around other ppl. Recently a close friend lose his job and everyone his wife told about their financial issues but as soon as he is back on his feet after 2 months they happy again

That's some pretty shallow thinking for someone who went to Havard. What on Earth do they teach in those institutions?!
