Girl ever since you introduced me to Mielle Organics Pomegranate & Honey Curly Custard 🙌🏾I used Wetline gel at first, but now I use Uncle Funky’s Daughter Curly Magic on top of the custard and that’s been my best combination so far. Taking your time to coat the hair and drenching the hair with water is key.

This series has been SOOOOOO helpful! I've been natural for awhile now but I've wearing my hair in a low cut the last 3 years. I totally agree that you mostly need a product with a little crunch to keep those curls in tact. The moment I started using gels (or jelly like products) to finish a style, my curls started lasting longer. Btw, I’m high porosity and I still appreciate your channel and this series 👌🏽

I really enjoy the technique. I realized some product combos may just work out if we take the time to "melt" the products into our hair or switch the order like you did. For me I be thinking that the more product I use the better. Sike because flaking is annoying

Sissssss!!!! That hair foreplay (massaging the hair... Adding that heat from your hands)😂 changed my life frien!! This added time to my wash and go but sis!!!!!! So worth it! Thank you for sharing your technique with us!!! I usually just slap product on but the prayer hands and the raking method are key to popping curls and reducing flakes. I'm currently sitting under the dryer but my hair was not white at all after applying products...Which it usually is.
