If i remember, Zenith left her house because of all the restrictions and rules, but as she had grown up with those rules, she did have some emotional block towards the whole situation (though she eventually accepted it). Oh yeah, if i remember right, Zenith's religion was also one which focused on purity of women and them being dependent on their husband (aka., somewhat of an anti-women freedom notion). Plus its divided into factions, with one not tolerant to other races, while the other being tolerant.

They skipped 3 things Paul's religion allows multiple wives or husbands and Zeniths religion does not and also the only one country that does not allow multiple spouses. So technically Only zenith is not allowed multiple husbands but can be a wife to a husband that has multiple wife. Though Paul is still a scumbag because it's more honourable to still ask the spouse about additional wife or husband. Zenith didn't allow for sex during her pregnancy which I believe was about a month or more after her announcement. Which Lilia used as an opportunity to seduce him because of the dry period. It's not mentioned but Lilia was actually in loved with Paul and Paul had similar feelings. Zenith knew Rudy was lying and using his child like nature to keep the family together because he didn't want the family to fall apart.

Lilia said he assaulted her (she was not a kid), but he did actually raped and deflowered her in her sleep. Anime did left out many things (not spoilers, because story wise they already happened), like after the discussion of Zenith and Lilia, about what to do with her. Rudy did came after Zenith and said to her, that he actually made up the thing with him hearing Paul saing to Lilia to spread her legs. The thing is, Zenith belongs and is a believer to a religion which doesn't allow polygamy or premarital sex, that's why Zenith didn't wanted to marry Paul and said to him couple of times no (they were in the same adventurers very famous group, and Paul slept with almost every woman he met, even with other two woman in the group from and you were right, because one of them was Ghislane). She only accepted the proposion after Paul sweared to never sleep with another woman, which he holded until the thing with Lilias pregnancy. He is a very sexually active person and util Zenith slept with him, everything was ok, but when she got pregnant, he was baned from sex, which was very hard for him. It took around one month between that and him sleeping with Lilith. He would probably got over it, if there wasn't any other woman, but it still doesn't excuse him from cheating :) Both of the babies were born in the same day, just couple of hours between, even though the second one one was conceived a month after the first one.

Everyone is deserving of a second chance, even Paul. However, his actions cost him his wife's heart and trust. She'll never see him the same after the betrayal and she'd always carry the pain inside till her end. The world is never fair. He gets to get the cake and eat it, and he's forgiven in the end while his wife would eternally doubt every little thing, even matters outside of marriage. She's doing her best to keep Rudy's ideals and happiness afloat and that is probably the most noble thing a person, a mother at that, can do.

For context, I will explain which is not spoiler; In the light novel, polygamy is a more accepted practice/religion in the world of Mushoku tensei, that's why the cheating is more likely to be forgiven. Usually tho, you ask for permission first from the current wife before you get another wife in the anime. Paul's religion leans more to polygamy while Zenith's is monogenous. another and don't forget Zenith cannot make intercourse due to pregnant so Paul looking at Lilia for his desire. SO I cannot blame full on Paul. Both Paul and Lili are to be blame . Also we need to praise Zenith more, because she is a great character, for the sake of their unborn children Zenith willing to calm and hold her anger . So for now the writer want you to hate Paul , but latter on you will love him and all of them. They are great person and great family for Radius

To expand on why Paul was so easily forgiven for cheating SLIGHT SPOILER THAT MIGHT BE EXPLAINED IN THE ANIME As many comments stated, Paul follows a religion where it allows Polygamy, while Zenith follows one that only allows Monogamy. I question whether this makes it okay for Paul to have multiple wives while Zenith sticks to one husband but this is up for debate. Zenith and Paul met when Zenith when she joined his Adventure Party around the time she ran away. Paul, at the time, was an extreme skirt chaser.
