Like yeah, we all know that raising children is not easy, but I wasn't expecting it to look that hard and exhausting. The amount of patience that Moe has. And the fact that it is the normal way to deal with parenting and you must be that patient with your child... That is how it's supposed to be for every child. It is true that having a child is extremely taxing, tiring and frustrating. You lose time with your friends, hobbies and even just yourself. You also lose the freedom to do what you want and go where you want. But at the same time that is what forms the bond between parent and child. Every little step, seeing your world their first steps and interact with the world around them with innocence and curiousity; it melts your heart and brings you closer together and makes you a better person.

Being a mom is so tiring. I honestly never let my kids have too much nap in the afternoon. Usually only for 1 hour. And the napping time must not after 3 pm. So that they will go to bed early at night. Just watching this i can feel how tired is Moe. Please take care of your health. I will be moody the whole day if i dont have enough sleep. U are such a great mom Moe!!

The comment your say at the end is so insightful. How you reflect on stopping your daughter from doing something because she will dirty her clothes and that she should experience it instead. These are things we really only notice after the moment and having to go through video capturing that moment really forces us to notice it. So thank you for sharing that. You are a very patient mum. Much love, Puja x

It's not worth spending so much time so early/late working on your channel, because it influences your health, and in the long term period you will experience all drawbacks of this lifestyle. You don't have to edit the video immediately after recording, separate the work into smaller chunks. My mom always said a man may work from Sun to Sun but a woman’s work is never done and it’s true especially when your partner must be away or travel for work. It’s unavoidable burning the candle at both ends. But it’s only for a time and then they’re grown and gone. Thanks to Moe for sharing so honestly.

I do worry about her health, especially with everyone saying how inspiring and strong she is for working so hard. I mean, yes she is inspiring and strong, but not getting any sleep and damaging your health should not be glorified in my opinion. Edit: to everyone saying that's just the sacrifice you have to make as a mother, that is completely missing the point. Technically her motherhood is from 7am-10pm, but she gets only a couple of hours sleep because of all the extra strain she is putting herself through. If it is a one off then that's fine but consistently that will cause so much unnecessary damage which is not ok and not normal, no matter what age or race she is.

Letting your child experience things by herself is a great way of teaching things. When I was about Sutan's age, I remember crying after eating a tube of wasabi which I thought was toothpaste, because I also ate toothpaste. He just smiled at me and asked, "Yummy?" I stopped eating toothpaste and wasabi after that

Thanks for this anecdote. I am not a mom, but sometimes I feel like kids aren't allowed to test (non threatening ofc) their suroundings and get a flat out "No!" left, right and center. How are they supposed to learn if they never experience some natural consequences? The parents should be present during these but let them see for themselves.

My little daughter is 2 too. I really understand how it is to stop being to overcautious, I needed to learn to stop saying No too and started to let her explore the world by herself and instead of no you can explain why she can't do that right now or something. And if you need help with translation I can do the German translation four you too. You really need more sleep and your strength for your daughter. Your doing a great job 👏

I know it is a pain I've been there, but sometimes you just have to let the kid cry. Especially when it comes to being picked up. Sutan reminds me a lot of my son, and sometimes we would just let him cry it out. It's tough but helped us when he got older.

Yes, I think it would be helpful for Moe to set boundaries with Sutan. That way she can learn that she will be okay even when she is left alone. It seems to be very draining having to soothe a crying toddler most of the day. Also setting a routine and making sure not to stray from it will help Moe feel more comfortable. Discipline such as taking away tv or toys can be effective if used appropriately. No parenting is perfect but there are many tips and techniques that can help out struggling parents :)

I definitely agree with setting boundaries. You're going to run yourself ragged being at the beck and call of a 2 year old, especially if you have tasks that need completing weighing heavily in the back of your mind. Yes you want her to feel loved and happy, but mom deserves the same as well. The trick is finding that balance. When I kept seeing you stopping what you were doing to pick Sutan up for the umpteenth time because she was crying to be picked up... you have the patience of a saint lol

I mean thats why kids all over the world grow up hating their parents or having little to no feelings toward them bc of this attitude towards kids I mean, for a kid they will see you as shit and uncaring, what would harm you if you stayed with them one hour or more so they can grow up better loving toward parents lol

Honestly, taking care of a kid has so much responsibilities. I took care of my little sister for a while when she was 3 and they are just so curious of everything that I found myself saying no all the time. The things she wants to do is not dangerous but troublesome for us. Like she kept wanting me to read to her or makes a mess so I found myself trying to stop her before she even thought about it haha. Maybe I'll learn more when I have my own.

Normally I dont comment, but this video has left an impression on me. Moe, thank you for spending the effort and precious time to make these vlogs. I have learned a lot about the struggles of mothers from you and just how much effort and energy it takes to raise a child, and how it affects you. By the end of the day you were struggling to keep it together, I have to praise your patience and your ability to cope and handle your emotions. It must be especially hard for you because, in addition to double guessing yourself normally, you also double guess your actions that you see while editing videos. It's all on there in camera. I wish you and your family all the best and I hope that you keep enjoying what you are doing in making these videos.
