Kim, you're speaking with so much wisdom. Important things to think about. Many years ago, our church worship leader recorded an album and became successful, with many opportunities. He eventually left our church to pursue his calling. While the congregation was happy for him, there were many upset people who didn't want him to move on. I have never heard these types of conversations or issues talked about before. Thank you for speaking on this. ❤

Thank you, Kim, for sharing these things. I wrote some lullabies for my children even though I didn't have any prior experience. The Lord inspired me through your ministry and I couldn't be happier with the results. Thank you for sharing your amazing talents with all of us.

Kimmy, thanks for thinking on Thursday again. I look forward to these times. Some of this is repetition but that is a good thing. That is said to be the best teacher. And some have not heard you as much. They don't know how precious you are . To billions of us. Love you Kimmy ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I'm glad you made this follow up video, because it was kinda obvious that last weeks video was pointing this direction. I'm glad you got right to the point, and fleshed out your thoughts. I hope "Trample" is doing great!

Thanks Kim …I like that you speak about hard subjects …You speak the truth when it comes to money n offense, many many times the Church leaders are more critical n more sensitive than the world, i know its not politically correct to say, I know from my 35 plus yrs in leadership that often even in the best relationships n churches, use wisdom n caution..many churches n people who attend are the most unaware of how they approach this subject of money, either they only speak “give” or the opposite “never” from fear to be associated with the “prosperity message” truth is our hearts can be hurt by those we love n not everyone has the best heart with money it exposes the deepest depth of a person.: when your talking about success on Church time .:

Wow, thank you so much for speaking about this. I post live videos for a worship pastor right here on this channel who is a singer songwriter. I know she wants to record some originals as well as some live recordings that are mixed and mastered well. I am going to pass this on to her. She actually reminds me of you a bit, hehe. You can see her on my channel on videos recorded live in the room with no mixing or mastering. I have been a big fan of yours for years, so this was right on time.

Hello Kim, Great insight! I’m wondering about the best way to copyright songs when you are the songwriter and owner of the record. If you could do a video on that or answer it directly to me. Thank you!

These sound like legal hypotheticals, because that’s where these issues can lead to. So what are the solutions? Contracts up front so everyone knows where people stand?

Dear Kim! Thanks for sharing your thoughts 🙏. I follow you a long way. But at the same time my own experience is that worship albums brings a lot of blessing. This includes albums that you have spearheaded with Jesus Culture. What a loss if they had not been produced. And to be honest I miss those ‘Spirit break out’ days. Yes, I understand the need for wisdom and balance but to skip producing great worship albums would be like throwing out the baby with the bath water. Hope it makes sense. Lastly: Thank you so much for your heart to honor and serve God. Lots of blessings from a fellow worshipper in Denmark 🙏😃

Na verdade se o ministério é do Senhor Jesus Cristo não existe limite de espaço, pois ele abrange um todo em cada lugar alguém com o um coração inteiramente dedicado a proclamar o evangelho de forma honrosa e ser grato por fazer.

How about let’s just attend church and the people just sing and praise the Lord like the did for 2000 years ! Forget the business aspect of it and making money ! Just sing to the Lord !

God doesn't promote the music industry. The world does. God just loves it when we create songs, and sing to Him. The world has made it into something more and when we fall into the snare of the music industry we can become dissapointed. Singing a,new song while you wash dishes, or even make a video from your bedroom to bless people without asking for money is important. It's very tempting and much justification can be explained as to why it's ok to write worship music for money and why God gives people platforms.....but the truth is: man gives platforms. God just wants our worship in everything we do. We make into something else because we always have to have more.
