I love how the villains in the trilogy challenged Po's body, mind, and spirit. Tai Lung (body), Shen (mind), and Kai (Spirit). Makes you wonder if they planned it from the start.

I’m surprised by the ranking but what I’m more surprised by is Nick being allowed to revoke his vote from a previous video… I could swear that they said once when starting ‘In Review’ that the votes are locked in, hmm kinda weird, plus I think it would’ve been cool if they kept it as it was so that Kung Fu Panda would be the only series to have a tie in the rankings (regardless where they place KFP3).

Not sure if anyone told Nick the movie he was thinking of but I believe he was thinking of Hero (2004). My step dad took me to see it when I was super young. Fell in love with Jet Li after that.

I just finished watching the movie, I had never seen it before. I have to say...3 might be my favorite! Kai was #1! JK Simmons was #1! The heart of the family story was #1! The kung fu was #1! The training montage helping all the pandas was #1! It even ended with the classic master-standing-before-his-class scene reminiscent of Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story!

The theme for Kai everytime it would play I would always hear “I’m so sorry” by imagine dragons and I honestly wonder each day if that was intentional or not.

My least favorite in the franchise still had some upside like The Kai vs The Furious 5 Po Meeting his actual dad And the final battle I still like 3 I will say the the 4th movie looks like it’s gonna be an improvement And tickets just went on sale for KFP 4 And JK has the villain is great

The villain theme in this movie is one of my favorite, the music just has a weight to it that makes every scene better

I think Tim doesn't realize that the Madam Web line actually isn't that funny and the internet and chronically online people shouldn't be validated when a star or someone who has a life and isn't chronically online doesn't get their jokes. Cause its not funny. THe movie looks like a trash fire, so I am not standing up for the movie, just pointing out - memes aren't always funny and mostly come off as "Well you had to be there" jokes.

Opposite of Toy story and How to train your dragon. Slightly worse with every movie and ups the kiddish feel. From family film feeling to only catered towards kids. Its still good but worried about the kid direction continuing in Kung fu panda 4

Dude honestly and I'm not trying to be a dick when I say this but you really need to switch things up for in review like every time I see it it's literally superheros and animated stuff like where's the variety give us another in review director to switch things up David Fincher or someone just try something that's not a franchise please

@@Crazeyd0g we definitely get them. They just have to be timed well, because it will affect what ads can be put on them and things like that. I mean, like even your example of Villenueve (who I think is the best modern filmmaker - full stop - and would love to get film critic and student Nick’s deep dives on), his movies don’t sell. Dune is one of his top performers, and even it fell short of expectations. That market penetration affects what can be done with it in subsequent content as well because the base audience is so limited.

speaking of Villenueve, i was unable to see Dune Part I on the big screen when it released, but our local cinema had a special screening of it this week before Part II arrives, (with a preview of Part II after the credits, featuring an incredible Shai-Hulud sequence) and have to say the film exceeded my expectations on almost every level. i'd love for KF to do a Dune in review, the Villenueve films, the Lynch film and the Jodorowsky documentary, would be wild. @@EveryTimeIDavid
