ABOUT THIS GAME
Kindergarten is an abstract puzzle adventure game. You play as a student in a school that’s a bit…off. The teacher is trying to get rid of her kids. the janitor is frequently seen cleaning up blood. The cafeteria is serving the same slop over and over again. Kids are walking around with strange devices planted on them after visiting the principal, and one of your fellow classmates has gone missing. It’s up to you to figure out what’s going on, because your life might depend on it.

don't forget that in the cannonical timeline, monty being nearly murdered by the janitor is a thing, both nugget and ourselves are time travelers, there are gods that can have their power harnessed through the power of cards which are in turn provided by lily and billy's parents... i don't know too much about kindergarten lore you do

I am not sure about nugget being a time traveler but our character sure is. Also I theorize that since the children are smart enough to make such brilliant plans, they once were adults that were regressed to children by the principals nefarious experiments. Also the reason this school is so dangerous and there are no 1st grade or any older children than kindergartners is because it’s not a real school. It’s a research facility that experiments on humans to try to create super soldiers or just give humans unsaturated and powerful mutations. This is shown by the monsters in the basement and all the high tech devices. Your character is the only one who wasn’t turned into a kid by the principal’s serum. He is an agent tasked with stopping this nefarious organization. He has a time machine at home that automatically resets the day for everything outside of his home but time still progresses normally inside the house. He used this machine to turn himself into a kid to infiltrate the facility and take them down from the inside.

I think it's a tricky point, you get the CHANCE to get monstermon cards in EVERY path, so you could argue that he would've easily gotten it. However there are some that either cost apples or, in 1 case, a lot of money, which wouldn't be possible to get for their respective endings first time round.

That's the point. Also no you do not get "shotgunned", you just get shot, as shotgun is an actual weapon which spreads bullets in a range. He probably doesn't want the mystery of Billy to be shown.
