I think I like how it has the tablet like qualities which gives the user a lot more freedom

I have the TCL Nxtpaper tablet and for comics/graphic novels it's the best imo. Without seeing the devices you have with my eyes, just going by the video it is miiiiiles better. Larger, more colourful and clearer.

@@captainchuppachup it looks like it’s an lcd screen though which I’m trying to steer away from to avoid eye strain

@ it is LCD. TCL make LCD screens. But it has a special matte coating and they use software to adjust for reduced eyestrain. Honestly it's excellent.

Was the kindle also in vivid mode?

yup! that's the only other mode the kindle comes in too, whereas the go color 7 is super customizable with their color
