After just a few weeks of recommended daily use, I can confidently say that it has really worked curb the inflammation and pain almost completely. Before I couldn't got consecutive days of play, but now I am able to string together several days. The purchase has a 30 day trial, so it was a no-brainer to test it out. So glad you recommended this.

Thanks John, when you first mentioned the kineon during one of your kewcasts talking about how it helped your shoulder, I decided to give it a try. I had really bad knee issues after I first started getting into pickleball because I was so overweight. I'd barely be able to walk at work or at home after a long day of playing pickleball. Using kineon it's helped my recovery time immensely, I'm able to play more pickleball and walk around and live my life without being in pain barely being able to walk. It took about a month of use twice a day before I saw any results.

I am not sure that the time healing would have been different with or without help of the Kineon Move + ... , I already used the Flexbeam for prolonged time (2 years) and still not sure if both are really helping me that much . Supplements I take (Vitamin D Vitamin C Magnesium and more ) ... and I do still work.. ! I have some spinal issues L5/S1 and I hoped that the Kineon Move + would reach further than the Flexbeam ... I see progress but slow ... very slow. Next to it I have a 2x FAR INFRARED Mat .. which I use to compensate for blood flow enhancement in the complete body . I do exercises for back and body ... But like you still pains in foot (sciatica from L5/S1 or somewhere down the line , which I treat all those specific locations)

Hey John are you still using yours? Thought I'd follow up and say thank you again for this review. I bought it and after a couple weeks I thought about returning it. I was a little impatient, but with the clock ticking on the return period, I didn't want to get stuck with such a costly device. During the time of using it I was also more intentional about rest and icing my knees after long sessions of pickleball. I suspected that the improvement I felt was more about R.I.C.E. than the Kineon device. Well after a couple weeks without using the Kineon but continuing RICE, the pain and swelling in my knees became noticeably worse. The only variable was using the Kineon device, so now I'm back on it and not looking back!

Has Kineon done any study in people with severe knee OA using this device? For instance initial MRI, 6 or 12 month treatment, another MRI to show at least some cartilage or meniscus regeneration. There is a big difference between acute inflammation/LLLT effect and chronic issues of any joints/muscles/ligaments.

I’ve have knee pain and after seeing a doctor and getting some X-rays, it was determined I have some osteoarthritis and possibly a partially torn meniscus. I received a cortisone injection and that didn’t help much. I asked if red light therapy would work and basically they said “red light therapy will not help my condition”. Can elaborate more on your knee and the results? Thanks
@johnkewpickleball6 ай бұрын
It sounds like we have very similar conditions. I had meniscus and patellar tendon damage, and early arthritis. I also got a cortizone shot - and that did help for me. It got my pain down to about a 3. But the pain stayed at a 3 for months after that, and I just thought it was my new normal. And like I said in the video, the Move+ took me down to a 0, and it now hovers between a 0-1 depending on my activity levels

For the 1st week all 3 light units worked, 2nd week 1 unit stopped working, 3rd week a 2nd unit stopped working. I’ve since gone back to the Hooga red light therapy panel. 3:54 WRONG!!!!! An LED and a laser of the same irradiance is a toss up as to which penetrates farther. deeper penetration comes from wavelength and concentration (which is done by optics). period. if you have an LED with X amount of energy on X surface and a laser of the same power they will penetrate the same depth. 650nm vs 810nm: different penetration depth. (IR goes deeper than red)

John, love your paddle reviews. Please don't do this. The gold standard to determine efficacy of any treatment is a double blinded trial. This means neither the patients nor the people monitoring or administering the remedy know if they have a real device or a placebo. In this case that would be a device that looks exactly the same but the energy emitted is much lower, except that the light looks the same intensity as the real device. Until the results of such a trial are available, it is not fair to say that this device works.
