If charging finishes in the way you could use those pedals to move like a cycle and reach your destination but by removing those pedals it is like a normal ev

It is Not Chinese. It is Indian only. KINETIC LUNA. Manufactured by KINETIC MOTORS. It used to manufacture LUNA Model Mopeds in the 1980's which was a 2 Stroke Petrol Version. LUNA TFR PLUS LUNA DOUBLE PLUS LUNA SUPER were some of the Models it used to manufacture. Inbetween it was not there in the scene. Now again it has come with Electric Versions of its Mopeds.

People don’t understand hybrid is the most expensive among all techs. You need both ice and ev components. The maintenance costs are high. Also the benefits and minuscule compared to the cost. Nobody other than the Japanese lead by 90 year old MDs are going for hybrids. EV is the future. The only thing required is govt support to set up a complete ecosystem.

People 20 yr work exp in auto sector (ICE, Hybrid & EV) would not consider your advise on hybrid. The era of Hybrids in India would begin. Could be India is heading for BiFuel (CNG Petrol) Hybrids (Series&Parallel)

@@vachan7069 20 year or 30 year experience is not important here. The modern ice tech is almost a century old. Ev has just started. It is less complex and easier to build. Hybrids offer no real benefits apart from a few km extra mileage. That is not enough to achieve net zero, nor that reduces fuel import bill significantly. Nobody in policy making circle cares if customer can save a few bucks in fuel cost. The topic of bifuel ( peteol- ethanol) is completely unrelated to ev vs hybrid debate. Bifuel mixing is happening with ice since last 5 years in India.

@@blackbirds1440 EV was started 100 yrs back just of ICE, ICE has reached its pinnacle in efficiency, EV evolved in last 2 decade. EV is fad by people in EV business. Its neither ecofriendly not economical in true sence while it's disguised to appear so. Let's see for next 10 yrs EV vs Hybrid.

@@vachan7069 EV is zero emission if we neglect those stupid arguments like electricity is produced by burning coal. In next 10 years India and most of the world will have 50% electricity produced by renewables alone and then there are other energy sources expanding like hydel and nuclear. The processing of toxic lithium will gradually be replaced with much safer battery techs. And EVs will be always economical to operate compared to fossil fuel. Eventually cars will become like electronic gadgets, easily replaceable. Hybrids are a makeshift arrangement to facilitate transition from ICE to EV at the best.

Nice review but too costly..and speed is too less,better get the petrol version and fit a bldc motor on the rear wheel with a smaller battery. That way u can have a hybrid was planning to do that 4 yrs back but then decided to go for a unlicensed chinese BattreOne bike.
