I was reading the rule book from the Kickstarter page and I don’t think that’s how lighthouses work in this game.

Before You Play had an older prototype and we've since changed the lighthouses! Monique and Naveen did an incredible job showcasing the Beta Version, but for all the changes I do encourage you to take a look at the Kickstarter Page and specifically Rulebook and Tabletopia link!

I'd like to highlight to anyone watching this, Incredible Dream are a studio that have actively tried to normalize what I consider highly anti-consumer practice of of "pre-pledging" for a game (i.e. a pre-order for a pledge), specifically for Kinfire Chronicles. I personally do not like these practices and felt it appropriate to let anyone browsing these comments, who may not be aware, know about them as this could impact decisions as to whether or not to back this company/game on Kickstarter.

True. I must add tho that they sent an email to everyone who had paid the $1 pre-pledge with the link to their kickstarter preview page and the option to ask for the $1 refund

I pre-pledged the $1 and was happy to do so as I enjoy their games. I don't see a problem with supporting game manufacturers who make games I enjoy.
