Turning the legendary King Arthur into a villain? WTF, that's just as awful as Superman going evil or Captain America being reimagined as a hydra sleeper agent.

I know I am very late with this, but as someone who played the game: To call what survived of the man, "King Arthur" would be pretty optimistic. The lore of the game is that something went horribly wrong when the Lady of the Lake tried to revive Arthur after Mordred had slain him (the prophecy did not foresee him even dying in the first place, so they panicked and brought him to Avalon). Arthur was the hero of this story, untill the player character murdered him before the start of the game. Arthur is in no way to blame for what has happened, he was the noble King Arthur like the legends have told when he was alive. What has survived is no longer him, his old companions, the Lady of the Lake, and even his own wife all agree on that. What is left of King Arthur's soul is trying to fullfill his destiny as if on auto pilot, for the prophecy must come true. But he has lost the awareness to see himself for what he has become, and how his influence can only corrupt now.
