Hi. No, nothing like. It is actually a luxury private-hire jet, not even an RAF one. It is unlikely to have any defensive capability. The King will have armed bodyguards aboard but that's it, I imagine. The Royals tend to prefer low-key travel - almost incognito - when off-duty (if a king can ever be said to be "off-duty"!). Sure, for motorcades, there is good security but for private air-travel, as here, they hope to fly unnoticed. I suppose, put another way, terrorists know the US President is probably in one of the two (heavily-protected) presidential 747s but the King might be in any number of small jets. Mind you, I think this is at least the third time he has used this one so I would feel happier if he would switch more. Take care.

It's likely along the lines of remaining incognito as you say, as he also travelled in his personal Audi, as opposed to a royal vehicle.

@@BritishEmergency i totally agree with you as well.... i, personally, don't think that he would want to be noticed all the time..... it could be dangerous if he or any of the royal family didn't do the incognito thing....... and also i personally think that sometimes it's better for any V.I.P or even the king to go incognito, especially if there are things that are of importance that need him to look into.... or even if the king and his family were to decide to have a quiet holiday to just spend time together....... i mean, a monarch's or any politician's life must be pretty difficult to live, if you ask me, personally......... i mean, if you are a politician or a royal family member known to the media and to the general public, you need to think about not just how your actions will be seen by the general public and media, but also you need to be very careful with the behaviours of your family members as well..... i mean any little issue that we would not take any notice of if it were a common citizen doing, will just become a very big issue if you were a royal or a politician ....... so yes, i really kind of feel really sorry for the royals, but well, they have to do what they think is best for themselves and their country, i guess...... Exactly this. The channel name isn't representative of emergency incidents, but instead *British* blue light *emergency* vehicles. The vehicles in this video fall into that category, hence the coverage of them 😊

I imagine it was all built-in the funeral plans. The King was very busy over the two weeks following the late Queen's death and it was clear that Royal Mourning would continue and that he would need a rest - so with those two requirements, I am fairly sure a break would have been planned. That he should go to Balmoral Castle (or, more likely, his house on the estate - which is already set-up to his liking, one presumes) was also to be expected. Cheerio.

Yes, I'd expect he's gone to a royal estate or household to have time to grieve properly as he's been consistently in the public eye since his mum died.

Royals don't always travel in the official vehicles. They're generally only used for events.
