My father was diagnosed with prostrate cancer when he was 50. He refused treatment of any kind. Lived till he was 80. Remained very strong and active till the last day.

That’s because some prostate cancers are so slow growing that patients are more likely to die of something else. Biopsies tell urologists which prostate cancers are fast growing and which are not. Patients are always given the option of treatment even for slow growing cancer. So refusing treatment may actually be more if a no thank you which the doctor would be ok with.

My best friend's father was diagnosed with what turned out to be the slow growing form of prostate cancer. He lived many years without treatment. Died of other causes. My same friend's brother was diagnosed with the aggressive form in late 2022. He died last month after many different treatments. All prostate cancers are not alike.

If it's not prostate cancer but was discovered during surgery for an enlarged prostate then it's probably colon cancer which is treatable if found early. My mother was just recently diagnosed and had surgery to remove a section of her colon within days of her diagnosis that removed it all with no chemo needed.

They probably did core biopsies, thats a surgical procedure, amd they came back positive. I advocate for a prostate cancer patient and the best tbing for them is to learn all ypu can, do your own research, adk questions, and read every single test result that appears. Everyone is different but we all need proacitve people to help us get thebest outcome. It also depends on the stage, the Gleason score and the kind of cellular presentation the biopsy revealed. Yes, it can be managed, but no one should be lulled into a false sense of security because it is an insidious disease that needs much attention paid.

I recently finished 9 weeks of radiation for prostate cancer. I'm still on testosterone suppression therapy - 18 months in total. I can't speculate on how similar his case is, but the treatment took several months with several months to recuperate fully. The treatment was successful. Gd willing his will be too.

I kept telling people to stop wishing for William and Catherine to take the throne and give them time for their kids to get older since they are loving involved parents and William will be a brilliant king in due time. The good is Charles is talking about it, increasing the awareness. Even if there is a lot of research and better treatments, due to our environmental pollution, cancer is increasing. Colon cancer is now #1. Especially here in the USA, where the food has so many artificial ingredients and pollutants. I was shocked when I arrived here and read the food incredient lists. Each of us must be vigilant in reading labels to minimize exposure to chemicals that do not belong to our body.

My aunt's friend's geriatric dog got paw cancer and recently passed away. I feel for the King, I pray to my gods that he can recover from this learning and life altering experience. Bless they hearted foolley, ah-men.

Prostate cancer is very prevalent. My stepdad eventually died from it. He had the surgery. He called me all the time because I worked with cancer patients. His cardiologist took his PSA and told him it was fine. Because the surgery, most men will have a .10 test result. I asked what it was and he said it was ,65. I told him to call his urologist and have it redone and call me back. By the time he called me back he was getting treatment on a clinical trial. He had metastasized to his bones. He told me he owed me his life because he would be dead before they took another test. He should have sued the cardiologist! He was able to live 10 more years before he died of brain Mets. I know so many men that have prostate cancer. Many treatments and even free screenings happen every where. We did it every year. We would screen a couple hundred men and find just a couple who had the cancer. You don’t have to be rich to be screened or receive treatment. Two cancers were the most prevalent. Prostate and Breast. There are different treatments for each. I am hopeful Charles caught it early with regular screenings. I wish him the best and hope he doesn’t go to his cardiologist for his tests! ❤

My cousin was diagnosed with breast cancer years ago. When sitting in the clinic room with my cousin. The doctor told her. Most likely, the lump has been growing for five years. When asked if he could pinpoint the cancer and how it developed. His response was (the environment). There are so many chemicals in the air and even when we think. We're eating organic. Sometimes, we're actually not. The only way you can be sure that you're eating organic. Is if you are growing it yourself. But fyi, the doctor did tell my cousin. Not to eat anything out of the produce dept. Why, even organic, still has pesticides. She was told to get her vegetables and fruits. From the frozen food section. Due to nothing being able to survive on frozen products. But be advised, talk to your doctor first and foremost. She is cancer free, my cousin, and nutty as can be. God bless you all who are going this battle. ❤
