I do NOT like people to gamble with these types of creatures even how professional you are to deal with these super venomous creatures. Remember the Australian Steve Crocodile Hunter? Did you know baby snakes are 10x more venomous than adult snakes of the same type? Good luck playing with fire.

@@seanlee7563 Baby snakes are equally as venomous as their adult counterparts. It's still ridiculously dangerous, there's no reason to spread misinformation about it to get across how risky it is.

Baby venomous snakes are not "10x more venomous", ffs. They are venomous, yes. They can still bite and envenomate you. They have the exact same venom composition as the adults. They have smaller venom glands and produce less venom than an adult of the same species. Quit spreading misinformation.

My favorite part of this video, aside from it being just very lovely to look at, is just how much this is going to help improve the lives of these snakes already out there by reeducating people on the best practices. Pushing back on common mistakes and such. Your care is so obviously excellent and based around their naturalistic behaviors and your snakes THRIVE! I hope this video continues to be super popular and people see the best conditions for their snakes to be in!

I'm quite surprised they're that calm even as hatchlings, when they realistically would be most afraid of potential predators and the risk of a misunderstanding would be the highest. Amazing footage and your relationship with the snakes is quite amazing.

Proud mama did a hell of a job~ 💚 The courting of king cobras is fascinating to watch. Skittles seemed like "bring it on, big boy" and Adina like "yes, but first we do foreplay, all the 30+min of it" 😂 Blown away at how calm these babies were from the start! I wish people would handle their snakes as calm and respectful as Chris does (regardless of whether or not they're considered "dangerous" or not).

I was hoping they went back to the wild in Thailand, however it still left me with hope that this is possible to breed for release into the wild. Lovely video thanks. A King cobra once nested in our garden down in the bamboo groves and one day our low ground covers in the upper garden were full of these gorgeous little hatchlings hunting keelback hatchlings and skinks. They were incredible to watch and seemed to have no fear at all unlike the adults which are incredibly shy. They were popping up and down, little periscopes to track their victims or like garden eels in the sandbed of an ocean. We've also had Trimeresurus hatchlings which are incredibly cute and krate hatchlings etc, krate hatchlins are strange, very slow moving. If you are in the tropics or anywhere else for that matter where there are snakes build lots of compost heaps all around the garden in the shade, layer them nicely and feed them etc, they take on a life all their own eventually and snakes love them for egg laying. Sadly after those hatchlings I never saw another King in our garden as such, which is a puzzle as we are surrounded by an undisturbed valley of deep lovely mature forest and streams. They may be as vulnerable to grow on in captivity as grow up in the wild. I'm not giving up hope I saw a few more adults in the ten years since those hatchlings, they were mostly on our small track road which has many hill streams running over it, but never juveniles. Maybe adults eat up the little ones....seems counter productive but who knows, snake eagles we have lots of those in the sky usually, I guess they take snakes mostly out the trees so it's possible.

Firstly for the impressive quality of your videos (I’m a big fan of watching documentaries and this is up there in terms of content and how you presented it and; Secondly, the irrefutable evidence of your patience and I never realised how incredibly time consuming and tedious breeding snakes can be. You have incredible specimens and have a new found appreciation of what owner and/or breeders have to undertake to keep these beautiful creatures who are often misunderstood through ignorance or fear. One of your videos came up on my feed and I've been watching your videos all day long. The way you handle those snakes is just making me cry, when I see all those keepers, who just annoy the kings just for content... Started my snake keeping last year and got some corn snakes, jungle carpets and this year I finally got my first venomous snakes - rhino vipers. Just amazing creatures. I'm hoping that, in the future, I will be able to get my first king (after getting experience in local zoo with Elapids) and make them as docile as you do. Keep up the good work, you are amazing 🙏

Watch out for the Rhinos! They can come out of nowhere and when you least expect it! They can also strike quite accurately when they appear to be investigating something totally unrelated to you. I have free handled a number of venomous snake species in the past when raised from babies in much the same way Chris does and if you have a lot of experience and know your particular animal very well they can be very receptive to such handling. The ones that I was able to fully trust included an Eastern Diamondback, an Eastern Green Mamba, an Eyelash Viper and a King Cobra! The Kings are on another level and the Eastern Green Mambas would be second! Burmese pythons are also quite intelligent. The one I had could be taken out for a crawl late at night and left and it would always crawl from the courtyard back to my apartment and open the door that I had left cracked slightly open and crawl through the house to it's closet in our bedroom!

Watch out for the Rhinos with regard to unpredictability and most of the rest of the African vipers in terms of strikes coming out of nowhere! They are among the most colorful of snakes, but I have not found them to be very interesting with regard to intelligence. The African mambas (especially, the Eastern Green) are beautiful and very intelligent and if raised properly from babies can be very docile... one of my favorite Elapids! The same goes for the Kings...they are on another level when it comes to intelligence but can be hard to get started eating. My female took close to 6 months to eat on her own and the force feeding with baby frozen thawed snakes took a bit of forethought... but the transition to free handling was very natural and without incident. She was also just as tame as the ones Chris has! They do require your full attention when you have them out as they are incredibly creative but the one I had mixed extremely well with company staying wrapped around my arm while seeming to enjoy the company of other people! She thought more like a person than a snake or almost any other animal outside of possibly the more intelligent birds or primates... actually more intelligent than some of the latter!

I love your documentary style man. And those babies were awesome. I enjoyed seeing you on Chandler's channel too, a little while ago.

I must say, that mating music is perfect. ❤ The Cobra roundup music is pretty cool too. ❤ also, that’s a lot of great work you do with snakes. ❤
